Most media players limit slideshows to 2048 pictures. I am looking for one that will do many more than that. What is this player's max?

We've tested it again. The media player can play more than 4000 pictures. Actually the number of the pictures it can play depends on the resolution of your pictures. We've tested most 3120*4160 and 1000*1000 ones.

Can this device loop photos as a continuous slideshow? It stops after playing all photos.

This one does not need to be set, and it will continue to play if it is powered on. If you encounter the problem of automatic stop, please change to a USB flash drive and put some pictures to try. I have two of them, bought at different dates. One with firmware v2 and another with v3. Is it possible to update the firmware on the oldest?
