Nakamichi FanLock Excel Series 24k Gold Plated Banana Plugs, 10-18 AWG

These work well in my system. It's not a high end system so I can't comment on super high fidelity. They look well made, feel solid, I could not detect any degradation in sound. I use 12 AWG and the setup was not hard after the first two and seems to be a solid electrical and physical connection between the wire and the plug. I like the fan lock idea which seems secure but realize that this is the only physical connection. A more secure physical connection would be an additional clamp on the insulated portion of the wire. As long as no one pulls on the wire instead of the plug they should be OK. They fit securely into my Yamaha amp. I used an ohm meter to test the conductivity of the outer shells and found that they are not conductive. I don't have experience with other banana plugs so I can't compare but I'm extremely happy with these.

Very good and solid connection. They are a great value for the money, the instructions are clear if you need them, and they are durable. My 14 gauge Monster speaker wires fit very nicely. They have a great weight and thickness that makes them easy to insert into your amplifier or speaker.

Listen, I am not an audio guru. I know I've been through a lot of banana plugs, and these were the easiest to use. The quality was amazing, the fitment, and weight screamed it. The music/movies I play through my Denon to my Klipsch speakers sound astonishingly. I have learned buy once, cry once. The journey learning that was fun, but expensive too. I feel these were worth it.

Recommended. Nakamichi FanLock Excel banana plugs are durable and work well with my audio system. The length and thickness of them makes them easier to handle. I consider them a good value for the money and recommend them over other banana plugs.

now these banana fan plugs are very very good. easy to install and strong plugs. not like the expensive fan plugs which break in a few months.

I like these. Easy fool proof solid connection. Nice weight and they fit very snug but not too snug. Instructions say to remove 1/2" of insulation but doing so makes it virtually impossible to assemble. You will see what I mean. More like 3/16" of insulation removal for easy assembly. Can recommend. Quality product.
