I absolutely love this hat. The mint green was super cute with my scarf, I got lots of compliments. I was surprised how non-itchy it was, to be wool. Very classy with great quality. I have hand washed it also flat dried and it still kept a great shape. Wonderful buy!

Wanted dark green for Perfect for St Patrick’s Day and it is beautiful — perfect to wear with my Black Watch Plaid wool blazer or my insulated Black Watch plaid vest or fleece. Fit is perfect and can pull down over my ears, if needed. I have a medium size head. Have been wearing wool French berets all my adult life. Love them! Will order another color.

A little tight. Okay item.

I love this brand, such a huge selection of colors, and really nice, soft, thick wool. Fit is adjustable, as they are stretchy, and you're usually gonna wear it lopsided, like the French do anyway! I have these in many colors, and along with the newsboy caps I have bought, I've accumulated so many I had to buy a few hanging wall hat racks from Amazon, too, enough for (gasp...) 40 hats. I always get compliments when I wear them!The color you get is usually pretty close to what the website shows you, but this last one in Dark Lettuce Green.....? From the name, you expect maybe a medium green, in the photo it looks like a lighter, bright yellowish green; but just be aware, this beret looks like it should be called Dijon Mustard Yellow, as it's kind of a very dulled-down dingy yellow. Maybe it'll go with one of my scarves, but I don't think I want to buy a sweater thiscolor! ;)But most of the other berets were pretty close to the color represented. Just realize that online, for any clothing item, if the name doesn't seem like it matches the color you're seeing online, it's kind of a gamble. But not an expensive gamble, at least.They still deserve 5 stars, overall.
