Perfect feelings game for young therapy clients, students, and your own kids!
What I love most about this game is that there are multiple ways to play it and I love that it covers a wide array of feelings. Itโs a great ice breaker in play therapy with my younger clients and is great for teaching emotional literacy and empathy. At home, my 2 young toddlers love playing with the cards, so I just leave them out and they are already identifying and relating to some of the feelings on the cards. Look forward to purchasing more as gifts for my therapist/teacher/mommy friends!

Exactly what I was needing
This is just what I was looking for - not just faces with emotions, but emotions in context that you can build a story around, and maybe have a conversation. Is she shy? Or is she afraid? Why?

Kids...for Kids
These cards are made of sturdy cardstock, nicely illustrated with images of small children acting out each feeling/behavior that kids in my K-1 classroom enjoy playing. They are epecially good for kids on the spectrum who need visual cues and they are also perfect for the general population as well. It prompts thought and conversation about each scenario card being played. It's a simple deck of playing cards with positive behavioural outcomes.

Recognize and Connect Emotions
Good game as part of a broader conversation in early childhood about emotions and coping skills. This is one set of tools to have as a parent or teacher of young children.

Great for child therapist
I use these cards for the scenes on them. They are positive and negative and show diversity in its characters. I ask the child what's happening in the scene to get a sense of their perspective and then ask them what they think will happen next. It's been very insightful into their worlds. I can also see using the feelings cards to have them act out the feelings or talk about a time when they had the feeling. The games the product suggests are mostly matching games, you can pair the emotion with the scene. Very good product, the kids liked it.

Every household should have a set!
I did not receive compensation or incentive for my purchase or review. I just found them while browsing for SEL tools. I cannot recommend this enough. I am so thankful that something like this exists. It has helped tremendously with my preschooler's language development. She struggled with Echolalia till age 4, and still (age 5) can't "use her own words" to relay what she's thinking sometimes. The give/take conversations have improved tremendously. Even without language issues, this set would be highly beneficial to any child in understanding emotions. Every household should own a set! She isn't far along enough for the games quite yet, but we work on 2 feelings/scenarios a week and incorporate it into play with Dolls as well so she really gets it for her age. It has also helpes with tantrums because we talk about coping skills for all the emotions. The representation of diversity is so refreshing. We have a mixed family so I cannot thank the creators enough for this.

Dated Images, But Overall Ok Product
I wish this was more of a "game" as advertised. Instead, you receive cards with either an illustration of an emotion or a social scene. The instructions are limited and this isn't really an interactive game as you would think. However, the quality of the cards are good and the images are engaging and I like that multiple races are utilized. Overall I would give this a 3.5 star rating.

Excellent for therapy
Great for therapy with young kids. I use the scenes to ask the child to tell me whatโs happening, what emotions, and create a full back story. Would love to see another set of these come out. The individual emotion cards are okay but itโs the scene ones that really make this is a must buy. Great for teaching emotions as a parent too.
