After trying two other voice recorders from Amazon and having to return them because I couldn’t get the recordings onto my iPhone properly, or they just didn’t work, I decided to give this one a try. I wasn’t sure at first, but I’m really glad I chose it. Setting it up was so easy. Once I’d downloaded the app, it connected to my iPhone in no time and transferring recordings is really quick. I tried out the transcription quickly and it was accurate ! I love that it’s all done wirelessly, so there are no cables to mess about with. You can see how much battery you have left once connected to app too. The recorder feels well made, looks smart and is easy to slip into my bag. I also like that it gives a little vibration when you switch it on and off, so you know it’s working. Also you have the option to turn the light on or off when it is recording. Also you can turn voice activation on and off easily in the app. The sound quality is very good. One thing I was disappointed about at first was that it didn’t come with a protective pouch, but when I contacted customer support to ask about it, they explained that they no longer include one. They couldn’t have been more helpful and their customer service has honestly been excellent. Every email was friendly and they replied very quickly, which made a real difference. Overall, I’m really pleased with this recorder. It’s easy to use, records well, transfers files to my phone without any fuss and offers great value for money. If you’re looking for a voice recorder that’s straightforward to use and backed up by a company that genuinely cares about its customers, I’d definitely recommend it.

I've only had this a couple of weeks but so far I've been really pleased with this voice recorder. The voice recordings are very clear and getting them on to the app is no problem at all. The transcripts are perfectly fine and the summaries have been incredibly useful for me. It saved me a lot of time and I love how many minutes you get free on the app each month, which to me is a bit of a game changer compared to some of the paid online app subscriptions. All in all I think for the price you pay, I think this is a really good piece of kit.

Update: This recorder worked great for about 3 months, then nothing. I can turn it on, but it won't record. I can connect the phone app, but it won't let me delete recordings or reset the device. I am sure it is corrupted, but without working a factory reset, I will never know. I emailed FoCase some weeks back, but they have not replied. I would be very careful before buying this device. This is a great recorder; it's simple, compact, and works just as advertised. The battery lasts well, and the connection to the phone app is instant. The transcription software does what they advertise. I share my voice files to a cloud drive for long term storage. There are other more expensive solutions available, but I find the FoCase does all I need of it.

Excellent little device that records clear audio and makes transcribing meetings and conversations quick and accurate. The AI summaries save a lot of time to prepare brief minutes and the app is easy to use. Battery life has been good, and the recording quality is impressive for such a compact recorder. Highly recommended.

Amazing on your phone but it's not good recording meeting or similar.

So this device works as advertised however, the chat gpt4 is an internal subscription service anyone need transcribing or summary over 1800minutes per month will need a internal subscription model. I imagined I could just add my chatgpt service, not subscribe to another one. If you're ok with this then this is a great device. Depends on your use case. For me 1800minutes a month is not the right usage model. Compared with the more pricier models this will be what you pay more for no doubt. For the price point this is excellent, just make sure you know what you need first.

The audio recording, transcription text and formatted summaries can all be shared to other apps like mail, cloud storage, Microsoft Word, WhatsApp etc. Hidden Features: Beyond the basic summaries, I found that you can export transcriptions to other apps (like ChatGPT). This opens up endless options for refining notes, brainstorming, or creating personalised content. Tech Support: I had an issue backing up files to my computer using the supplied data cable, so I contacted their tech support by email. The next morning I had a reply from their support team and solved it right away. What Could Be Better? Not much to complain about, but I wish I’d opted for the white version to match my phone. Who Is This For? If you’re looking for a reliable, functional, and innovative recording and transcription tool to streamline your workflow, I believe this is it. It’s compact, powerful, and packed with features that make my life easier. This is a great recording device - it is small, easy to operate, and works well - picking up my voice very clearly. If it were just a recorder that would be good; but it is much more than that. Downloading an app to your phone enables the recording device and phone to 'talk to each other'. Audio files can be transferred easily (no wires needed) and speedily from the recorder to my phone. From there files can be shared, or transcribed and summarised. The very generous 1800 free minutes a month is more than enough for my needs. The transcription and summaries and mindmaps can also be shared easily - so nothing is locked in the app. I was sceptical whether this product would match the much more expensive competition, but it does a lot better than I anticipated for a very reasonable price. I also needed to contact customer service for help and got a personalised and speedy response to my question. I have no qualms in recommending this product, and, in the unlikely event of anything not working as expected you will find first class help from customer support.

con grabaciones largas, 1 o 2hs, más de 30min da problemas para descargar al ordenador y la app se bloquea, demasiada información. Cortando la grabación de 1 o 2hs en periodos inferiores a 30min la descarga es viable y la app no se bloquea El nivel de grabación es perfecto.

Ottimo dispositivo. Funziona bene, fa quello che dice. Ha l’intelligenza artificiale, quindi da un discorso di riconosce le persone, fa una trascrizione del testo, un riassunto preciso e una mappa mentale. Pazzesco!! Ho registrato un colloquio di 30min ed ha capito di cosa stavamo parlando, ha evidenziato le varie problematiche, i punti più importanti, le considerazioni!! Ottimo acquisto, considerando che l’alternativa costa € 169
