I've started collecting these type of solar light statues for my patio and garden. I love outdoor lighting but I hate dealing with wiring and outdoor plugs and so forth. So much easier to use solar lights. There's a solar panel and an on/off button to depress. Whenever I get one of these, I just press it down once to "on" and leave it there, no fuss. These don't give off a ton of light but the lights there are shine very brightly at night. And I love the frogs, they're incredibly cute. I set it up last night and went to peek late at night at it's adorable. Definitely works, and I definitely recommend.

I was looking decorative gift to use in a garden. This frog & child caught my attention because of the theme and the bright colors. The solar powered lights were a bonus. We moved this statue to several places. One was among the plants on a covered patio. In that location the sunlight is a lot less so the lights on the statue do not last through the night as you would expect. We also placed the statue outside in the garden but again the lighting was not full sun but the lights lasted a lot longer. We did not move the statue to a garden in full sun because that was too far from the house to see at night. The statue is rather small and the lights are not bright enough to see from a distance. We especially liked the statue on the patio because it is easier to see even though the lights do not last through the night. Because of its small size it works better on a raised platform. The statue is stable and did not tip over in the presence of high winds in a thunderstorm. The material is very durable, and the electronics are well made. Because of the bright colors the statue stands out even during the day and adds a cheerfulness to an garden. The hand painting is well done. Overall, this statue exceeded our expectations, and the price is good for the value.
