I initially thought the “Heat Store” technology was just a gimmick and the price was too high, but I bought it anyway mainly bc it was dishwasher safe, leak proof and looked like a convenient drinking design without the lid getting in the way. Turns out it’s become my absolute favorite cup of all time. My Yeti’s and temp controlled mug are obsolete now. I’ve been using this Ninja cup every day for the past couple of months when on the go or at home (leak proof with the kiddos around is ideal). Love it so much I felt compelled to share a positive review. It legitimately gets my coffee to just the right sipping temp immediately and keeps it there, unlike my Yeti that burns my tongue initially. The lid on this Ninja is also far superior compared to the Yeti. When comparing the two side by side, the Yeti just feels cheap. The Ninja is solid - I’ve accidentally dropped it a few times on the lid too and it didn’t crack or chip like my Yeti lids have in the past. I’ve also run it through the dishwasher repeatedly and it still looks new. Nice quality, removable rubber boot and very functional contour on the mouth piece for easy drinking - what an over-engineered, high quality, awesome coffee cup! Seriously buy it - you won’t regret it!!

I have everything ninja. At this point I wish they would sponsor me because I love their products so much lol and this mug is nothing different than amazing. I had a yeti and when I learned ninja made a mug I had to buy it. It doesn’t keep your coffee blazing hot but I like that. It helps your coffee get to a comfortable drinking level and you won’t burn your mouth trying to sip coffee It feels premium like all of ninja’s products. It feels sturdy and quality feels great. It has a rubber base which helps if you’re a little clumsy. However, even if you tip it over, it’s leak proof and does not spill everywhere. My only issue with this mug is that the base is thick so it does not fit in my car’s cup holder. However, I have extra room by my cup holders and it fits just fine. However, if you just have cup holders with no extra room this won’t fit. I love taking my coffee to go and this is such a great product. Anyone buying this would love this mug and you know what you’re paying for since it’s made by ninja.

My hubby loves this mug! Replaced his fav Starbucks mug with it and he’s very pleased. keeps coffee hot, comfy to hold and easy to clean without the brown staining. Nice buy.. great color!

Keeps any hot liquid hot for a long time! I normally would use it for my coffee. One caveat though, with the rubber protector on the bottom, it does not fit the car's cup holders. you would have to remove the rubber protector and then it would slid right in. no biggie

This is the best leak proof, sipping lid design travel mug I've ever purchased for drinking coffee and I have purchased quite a few, numerous name brand ones and others that are not. It keeps my coffee at a great temp. I have never burned my mouth using this mug as I have done many times in the past with other brands. I also use it for keeping a beer cold and again, perfect for drinking along with keeping my beer too. The mug has a nice rubber base that's removable and does a excellent job of keeping the mug from sliding if for some reason you sit it sown on a slopped surface. My only negative comment I have with it is, it's fat which I'm no fan of. I travel a lot and carry it with me in my computer bag for grabbing coffee at hotels and for use during my work day. I rent a lot of different name brand cars from the airports and there have been quite a few that the travel mug will not fully fit down in the cup holders, so be aware that could be an issue. I do recommend it, just keep in mind the diameter (3"), it may not fit your cup holder if you plan on using it as a daily travel mug.

Good and bad, one of my favorite travel mugs. Lost stars as I have had many accidents with the top leaking. Good - works well like it says wait before drinking to minimize burnt tongue and keeps hot things warm for a long time. Cold drinks stay cold. Bad - lid leaks when it's closed. Be cautious ordering one that is used. I ordered 2 in different months. The first one was REALLY used not barely like it stated so much that there's an obvious discoloration on the outside. The second one was in better condition.

Good cup, but awful vendor -- the cup was in a sealed package but had coffee stains on the lid and even in the cup. I cleaned it with bleach, but ewww -- this was represented as a new cup and for $44 they could have at least washed it!!

Edited to add: It doesn't keep drinks as hot as I'd like. My Yeti does a better job. I do like that it's easy to keep clean. I wish the base were a little narrower to fit in my car cup holder. Still glad I bought it. I was intrigued by the premise of this mug. Like competitors, it isn't cheap. Normally I alternate between a Yeti and a Stanley. I expect my mug to fit in my car cup holder and keep my drink hot for at least an hour. This mug is larger and feels sturdier and heavier than my usual go-tos. I like the color choices and the bottom cover. The top is very ergonomic to the mouth, which is nice. I feel like the mouth shape is one of those things I will now expect on other mugs. The one disappointment is that opening and closing it makes a rather loud snapping noise. Thus, while I'd planned to take it to work and travel with it, I'll probably keep it at home since the noise could be rude in a work setting. It is easy to clean -- fewer parts and fewer places that can trap disgusting gunk. It keeps my drink hot, but I don't think that aspect is superior to other brands. Overall, I'm very pleased.
