More secure than the Otterbox holster designed for my iPhone. Fits my Otterbox Defender case perfectly. Great and secure design!

This Encased Belt Clip Holster fits perfectly with my Otterbox Defender Pro XT Tree Trunk graphic case for Apple iPhone 17 Pro Max. TBH, I was initially nervous since my iPhone 17 Pro Max case is Otterbox and this is another brand of belt clip holster and I am concerned whether they fit with each other. After I try them on my Otterbox Defender Pro XT Tree Truck graphic case, I am so glad that this holster fits perfectly with Otterbox case. Besides, the "soft" inside lining of this holster provides great protection for the iPhone front glass. I am so glad about my purchase.

I like this one because the clips are on the ends instead of the top and bottom for easier use.

For the price, it’s not too bad of a holster. One good thing it will securely hold your i17 Pro Max. But be aware it is a BIG holster. But of course, an iPhone 17 in an OtterBox defender case is big. It appears to me overtime with the top spring clip against the top of your case the constant in and out may prematurely, scuff, or mark your case. Unless you’re careful to make sure the clip is all the way up before inserting or taking out your iPhone. And if this holster is under a sweatshirt or a jacket or a coat, it’s very hard to re-insert the iPhone into this holster. For this holster four stars!

Nice holster case for Iphone 17 pro max. This is for new iphone 17 pro mac as the Otterbox case did not have a holster. It is more secure versus the one that was previously purchased from Otterbox.

I've owned six or seven of these over the years, starting with the iPhone X, then iPhone 13 Pro Max, and now iPhone 16 Pro Max. The reason I've owned so many is that over time the holster spring wears out and becomes floppy. That was fine. The last two (these being for the 16 Pro Max) the top clip has snapped in half. This just happened today, the 15th of September 2025 with the one I bought last April. Meanwhile the price has gone up from $16 to $19. I can't tell if quality has gone downhill or the design has hit its limit on sizing up with larger phones, or both.

Perfectly solved the problem presented by the Otterbox belt clip, which would only work with screen facing out. Much sturdier and better designed.
