I bought this to clear heavy brush on the fence line (Canas, dense weeds, etc.), as well as for my next camping trip to forage for firewood. Boy was I impressed! First, out of the box, the design and build quality stand right out. It's not a work of art with scrolling on a hardwood handle or etchings on the blade. But it does look alright and feels good in the hand. I put it to the test, knocking down some tall Cana plants, and it cut them down like butter. Taking the word of other reviewers, I expect the serrated back to do well on firewood. The scabbard is serviceable ( it beats nothing), the grip is secure, and - being rubber - I expect it to do well when wet. All in all, for the money, I am very pleased with the product, and being Mossy Oak, I expected a quality product. You can't go wrong with the solid hacker.

This guy is like a small dog in a big dog fight!!! He has so much ferocity in him that he doesn’t know his own size!! It’s a great big “little “ knife!! Well made and very well balanced in the hands!! Light weight but at the same time extremely sturdy!! The sheath is made of sturdy material and the price is a steal for such a great product!!

It’s bigger than my other garden knives, and much sharper. I love it! Great for opening bags of mulch, etc. It slices through tough weeds, vines and decorative grasses like butter. The saw is great for tough roots.

Used this to cut through some woody stemmed weeds, small branches, and more. Accidentally hit the blade on some hidden rocks, and it's still sharp with no chips! The quality is great, it's a solid weight but not too heavy, and easy to hold. The holster is very, very solid. Highly recommend.

For the price you CAINT GO wrong, fast shipping, perfect size for bushwacking, great grip on the handle, love the Blade shape. The saw looks cool but not practical, good blade thickness, and sheath has a plastic lining. Overall cool little machete. For the price I recommend.

Im very happy with this purchase. The saw back works well which is the main reason I got it. There are better sawing options but this is for an emergency bag where I am trying to stay as compact as I can and this fit the bill nicely. Good metal, it's got nice weight to it and can hack nicely. I also love the full tang which you don't see too often. Good build and dirt cheap you can't go wrong

Great knife for the price

The blade edge is sharp enough for hacking though it is a bit on the thin side. Great for clearing out brush and saplings around a campsite which is one reason why I like the compact size. That and it fits discreetly in a 30L+ backpack . Besides, I don't anticipate jungle escapades any time soon for which a longer, thicker one would be more appropriate.The saw is quite aggressive but obviously that and its thin width precludes batoning. Nice to know it is full tang though and has a lanyard hole. For safety, I made a black 550 paracord lanyard with a little snake knot at the end so my hand can "lock" onto the handle which is incredibly comfortable, grippy and fits perfectly.The sheath is just OK because it takes a little fidgeting to get the sawchete all the way in. Other than that, it ie what it is and is worth it as a campsite clearing tool.FYI, it may be Branded Mossy Oak but at this price it's not made in Mississippi or anywhere in the USA. You know where.
