The Best!
This liquid lactase has more enzyme availability per drop then the 2 other liquid drops I have used. I experimented and successfully use the drops in sour cream, heavy cream, cream cheese, marscapone. The directions state to add ten drops to the " milk" and wait at least ten hours before consuming. I actually wait 24 hours so the maximum enzyme breakdown can occur. I am no longer beholden to just lactose free milk and cottage cheese off the store shelf since the manufacturers are so stingy they don’t bother to make other lactose free dairy items I use ten drops if it was half gallon of milk but to be safe instead of bloated and sorry, I use at least ten drops per cup on any condensed dairy item like sour cream ,not milk , I am mixing up, so I use 20 drops for 32 oz sour . I take into consideration how condensed that dairy item , how much milk they used to get that quantity of cream cheese. I experimented and am not disappointed. All manufacturers drops r not equal, they have different amounts of enzyme units per drop and I adjust accordingly. Pumpkin Cheesecake is next on the baking list. I guess you could contact the manufacturer for off label use if you feel unsure.

Works well either taken with food or or as a pre-treatment in food.
I had tried lactase enzyme tablets before but found they did nothing for me. I tried these as the reviews are so good. These drops are fantastic. They are very effective on the milk and yoghurt I have tried, and I have also made cheese using the treated milk. As they worked so well, I tried them in my water which I drank while eating cheese. I was gobsmacked as I felt no effects whatsoever from eating stilton - which I have sorely missed for several years!

Fantastic little insurance policy for when supplies of lactose free milk are unreliable
As a family of lactose intolerants, we were hit hard by the first lockdown this year. As a rule, nobody without an intolerance buys lactose free products, or indeed gluten-free ones if they're not coeliac or otherwise gluten intolerant. And yet, there we were.So as insurance against this, because we couldn't buy lactose free milk in the village, I bought this lactase enzyme that would allow us to simply treat ordinary milk and buy that instead if needed. In terms of flavour, this product itself is flavourless within the treatedmilk product, so no problem there. Like with all lactose free milk, thought, you may find that the treated milk is a little sweeter on the tongue as the disaccharide lactose is broken down into two monosaccharides, galactose and glucose. This doesn't bother me because I've been drinking lactose free milk for years, but if you're new to it, this might be unexpected.Be aware also that there is a 10 hour action time in which the enzyme converts the lactose to the more harmless sugars. You can't just stick 5 drops in a pint of milk and chug it down right away. I tend to check the milk situation at dinner time and treat milk then if needed so we've enough lactose free for cereal and coffee in the morning. Finally, I'm going to be experimenting on using the enzyme in heavier creams for making caramel and fudge. You can't buy these lactose free, likely due to a perceived lack of demand, but believe me, if I can get this to work effectively on a good, thick pouring cream, next step is lactose free clotted cream, and my first cream tea in a decade. If anything can get me there, it'll be this.

it works
This product seems to work after adding the milk tastes just like lactose free that sweeter taste due to the conversion of the lactose to sugars. Saves a fair amount of money.

Will buy again and again.
I was desperate to cut down on packaging and my lactose free milk in tetra pak was holdng me back. I found these and I now order all of our milk from the milk man in glass bottles. I pop 5 drops into the bottom of a reusable drinking bottle, pour the milk in on top and give the bottle a shake. This works really well so I'm really pleased. I also eat a lot of yoghurt to to avoid packaging I make my own (using a long culture time as I am very lactose intolerant) then stir 5 drops of the lactase into a small amount of yoghurt, then stir that into the rest of the yoghurt to ensure it mixes well. I plan well ahead so the time lactase takes to work is not usually an issue. I can cinfirm that if I took lactase pills and tried to drink the same milk I would be in a lot of trouble. This method seems to work reslly well for me. This is a no-brainer for anyone concerned about reducing packaging and plastics.

Effective product, useless dispenser
Product works very well for my lactose intolerant daughter and me. However knocking 2 stars off because the dropper mechanism on the bottle doesn’t seem to work properly. Have tried using a pin to reopen and now that’s stopped being effective. Not much use if you can’t get it out of the bottle. Their website is also insecure so I can’t even contact them. It could just be a faulty one.
