A beautiful hardcover edition of the New York Times Best Seller! These blockbuster danmei/Boys'' Love novels from China inspired the animated series: an epic historical fantasy about a prince and the mysterious man by his side. Born the crown prince of a prosperous kingdom, Xie Lian was renowned for his beauty, strength, and purity. His years of dedicated study and noble deeds allowed him to ascend to godhood. But those who rise may also fall, and fall he does--cast from the heavens and banished to the world below. Eight hundred years after his mortal life, Xie Lian has ascended to godhood for the third time, angering most of the gods in the process. To repay his debts, he is sent to the Mortal Realm to hunt down violent ghosts and troublemaking spirits who prey on the living. Along his travels, he meets the fascinating and brilliant San Lang, a young man with whom he feels an instant connection. Yet San Lang is clearly more than he appears... What mysteries lie behind that carefree smile? This Chinese xianxia fantasy novel series built around the romanticized love between two men (danmei) is the newest work from author Mo Xiang Tong Xiu, and has spawned an ongoing multimedia franchise that''s beloved across the world--including the animated series (donghua) that amassed 100+ million views in just its first month. This deluxe hardcover rerelease of Seven Seas’ bestselling English-language paperback features special embellishments: a dust jacket featuring all-new art and foil lettering, a new foil illustration against linen-texture graining on the hardcover itself, elaborate printed edges, and a ribbon bookmark. Featuring art from Arisk_k, Za Nian, huaepiphany, ZeldaCW, and 日出的小太陽 (tai3_3). "But, overall, how''d I find Heaven Official''s Blessing ? In a word, delightful... The novel concerns itself largely with trauma, compartmentalization, and healing—as well as the nature of justice, or righteousness, in the face of a social bureaucracy guided otherwise by wealth and privilege." –Lee Mandelo, Reactor (formerly Tor.com ) "[In the animated series,] Xie Lian and Hua Cheng''s relationship is slow to develop but absolutely satisfying to watch" –Hilary Leung, CBR "...I''m definitely hooked by Heaven Official''s Blessing [the animated series]. The visuals are sumptuous and honestly, they could carry this series on their lonesome. But the fun characters, gripping story lines, and emotional subtext is what kept me hooked." –Jean-Karlo Lemus, Anime News Network Review: Stellar !! - Really this book genuinely caught me off guard, I never expected that I would enjoy it so much that I have already put in the order for the next volume As I was going through reviews quite a few got duplicate copies , but I got the coloured edition or probably the original. My seller was cocoblu. Nonetheless great book , great story and truly captivating. Review: AMAZING BOOK, AMAZING AUTHOR - First of all, I have to say, it arrived in a great condition. Super satisfied with packaging and delivery. The paper quality, book cover, the art, the design is amazing. I absolutely love the cover design. It's brilliant and glossy and totally worth it. Coming to the book itself, Heaven Official's Blessing is already famous in the Danmei community, and rightfully so. Mo Xiang Tong Xiu's writing style is dynamic and engaging, but she bags the prize for her plot construction. You'll absolutely fall in love with the main characters and with many others too. A big thank you to all the translators and artists and everyone who made this possible and ofc, to Mo Xiang Tong Xiu.

It was nice.
I really liked the book. Each page was great and of great quality, it's worth the price. But the only thing was that the cover was damaged and it seemed that it was cut with something sharp. It damaged the first 3 pages. And as someone who treats books like my own child, I was really disappointed. I wanted to return it but it took some time to be delivered so I didn't wanna go through that process. I'll just let this slide since it's not that of a big deal. But overall I love the book!!

Favorite Mxtx novel
This novel is one of my all time favourites. Though the shipping process took quite a lot of time, it was worth the wait. I could not pre-order it on Book Depository but thank God it was available on Amazon at a decent price. Hoping the future releases are available here as well.

Beautiful story and amazing quality book!
There's honestly no need for me to review the story, it's amazing and you'll be hooked by the prologue. But quality-wise, the book itself is beautiful, mine came with no scratches or tears, and overall I'm very satisfied. I've read other reviews saying their copy came in damaged, but there was no problem with mine, so maybe the issue has been resolved. My only complaint is that I had preordered this item was back in October, and it was still late by one month. This is probably an issue with the distributer, but I would take the shipping date with a grain of salt.
