Very easy to setup using a phone and downloading the app. The XbotGo follows motions of the game or a specific player and zooms in and out when necessary, the quality of the camera is excellent, and it’s easy to connect to your phone. It also comes with a charger and remote to help navigate the videos and to pause or record. Very easy to carry in the compartment that it comes in. Great purchase.

Perfect for all sports. I use it for lacrosse and love how it saves good plays with the push of a button live. Video storage is in the cloud but can easily be downloaded and sent to other platforms. Very well built. The battery life is excellent. Quick simple connection to cell phone. Heavy duty compact case for storage. Auto and manual zoom for your player.

I'm using it for Basketball games. It works well enough for my purpose, but don't expect professional results. Sometimes it looses the ball, especially if people walk in front of the camera, but after the 5 game you'll have learned where and how to setup to work around some of the quirks. If you can, step back a few rows and get the camera 10 feet off the ground. The only real issue I had was when recording on a court with another court right behind it. In that case it gets confused which ball to follow more often, but that is only a real problem if you are sandwiched in between two courts. 4 stars because there is room for improvement of the software. Making streaming a bit easier working would be a great start.

I am hoping to upgrade this as I become more familiar with the product. Be prepared to set aside a lot of time to learn the product. The paper manual contains a random mix of information but no instruction on how to operate. The video tutorials can be paused but can only be started from the beginning, which is time consuming when you're playing with something new and want to scroll to the part you are learning. Having repetitive music play on a loop when you are trying to listen to the instructions is not a positive feature. The instructions describe features, not how to use them. For example, the Xbot has a feature to follow a player, called FollowMe. The instructions read "Enter "FollowMe Mode" → Select "Jersey Number" → Enter the athlete's jersey number. Where will you find the "FollowMe Mode"? I can't answer that one yet but will let you know. There are thousands of positive reviews and I hope to join them. So far, this is destined to be returned because if everything is not intuitive, it should be easy to look up in the manual. If you are recording a game and need to learn something, it makes no sense to watch a video tutorial on the same device that is 12 feet in the air recording the game. Update Aug 6 - comments are specifically related to ice hockey It would be great to be able to zoom with the remote or the monitor. Once the camera is 12+ feet in the air, bringing it down to turn off auto zoom and then figure out the zoom I want is a process. The gimble cannot angle down sufficiently to pick up all of the action.Significant amount of action along nearside central boards is missed. I was really surprised that I cannot edit my footage by signing in online. It appears that I have to use the phone I recorded with, which is laborious for an hour plus footage vs accessing it via much bigger screens. UPDATE (Aug 6): you can send yourself a link. Update Aug 7 The live streaming feature on high speed internet does not work. It does a frame every few seconds. It could be a great tool but has logic flaws from a hockey perspective. If your phone (camera) is at the recommended height of 12 feet, you need to use the monitor function to make sure it is set up as you want (such as forcing a manual panning if the tracking loses its way (the camera drag function on the monitor is excellent BTW, is very fast) and linking the devices by hot spot is recommended. If you do this, you can't then use wifi to to live stream. If they fix the streaming issue, I would recommend a mirroring feature (between two Apple products).

Camera quality is great, hands down, it does track and zoom in for slow movements, if you're doing cooking or a makeup streaming, this works just fine. Doesn't track or zoom for fast motion at all, also only rotate horizontally, not vertically. It is easy to use, but for the price, it has basically the same functions as the $20 rotating tripod, except it has the auto zoom which doesn't really work in a fast motion tracking. I'm a solo content creator focusing on dancing and fitness, this one doesn't help me that much, very disappointed. So far I haven't been able to find a Camera that rotates horizontally and vertically.

I’m really impressed with this item so far. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. Setup does take a bit of time, but nothing complicated at all. The app connectivity is a standout feature, easily a 10/10, and everything syncs smoothly without any issues. What surprised me most is the quality and tracking, which are incredibly sharp and accurate. Overall, it feels like a well-made product that delivers great performance and value.

STAR! I started this review with a 6th star because this product deserves it. This device can be set to very narrow or extremely wide angles to record. It fits in any bag with its compact size. Once you get it turned on and updated, the app has so many features that the functionality alone makes it worth the purchase. It can be set to track jersey numbers, movement, or the ball and I find the flexibility to be worth it as certain gyms differ and you need to change your settings to adjust. I get just as excited to use this camera as I do for game day itself. This has change recording abilities and I am extremely happy.
