I was pleasantly surprised how well this pinpointer works for finding metals. The notification sound gets louder as you get closer which really helps find the item quicker when metal detecting.

Well made and easy to use. Comes with LED light, vibration, and buzzer features. Vibration is on all the time, but buzzer can be turned off. Two sensitivity levels: Normal and High. The LED light can be turned on or off.

I use this along with my HF Gordon metal detector, to find property markers.Inexpensive and seems to work okay.Changing settings are finicky.I'll update this, as I continue to use it.

This item has made treasure hunting so much fun and easier to pinpoint an item without leaving giant holes.

I have always been fascinated by the treasure hunting shows that I watched as a kid growing up. Finding rare coins or detecting precious metals while digging through soil seemed like a fascinating adventure. So, when I saw this handheld metal detector on Amazon at such a reasonable price (less than $30), I thought that it was too good to be true. I poured over the reviews and from people around the world and decided to order one myself. It came on time and was exactly like I expected. The wand feels "solid" in my hands and is not some cheap piece of plastic. There are multiple sensitivity settings that you can easily adjust and even opt for a clearly audible "buzzer" sound when it detects an object. There is also a handy LED light built in to illuminate your search. It does take a 9V battery (which was included) and a handy holder & strap. Others had indicated that the cap was difficult to take off and insert the battery, but I found it easy to complete. Yes, you do need to align the cap threads properly, but that is the case with ANY screw cap so I did not see it as an issue. I give this product a 5 star review and tested it on various objects (sterling coins, iron, jewelry, etc.) and it works just as described. I can't wait to use it in the field for more challenging digs, but from all that I have seen so far, it is an excellent tool for this activity. Customer services was also excellent for this purchase and it arrived on time exactly as described. Happy treasure hunting!

Bought this to find a tungsten wedding band with a diamond lost in high grass. The wedding band would cost $500 to replace besides the sentimental values. For the price, this metal detector seemed like a good deal. I had searched for the band for over an hour without success. My grandson lost a small metal car in the mondo grass also that could not be found. There was some question whether metal detectors would even detect tungsten. In about 10 minutes I found both! I can say with certainty that this device will pick up tungsten. Very happy with my purchase. Who knows, I may get into the metal detecting hobby.

Great product for the price! The beeps are loud so you can find the objects. It’s light weight and durable. Easy to carry.
