Thanks to this knitting pod I can sit outside on the frozen lake on sunny days and knit to my heart’s content. I made a sledge from a pallet and hauled it out on the lake. I use two bungees to keep the pod attached to the sledge so it doesn’t blow away. Inside is a Helinox 1 chair, which is perfect. On a clear day with light wind I can be in there all day, barefoot in a tank top. It’s so AWESOME. I took all Fridays in Feb off so I would have a good shot at sunny weekend days. It is so beautiful out on the frozen lake. I cannot recommend this enough. Oh! I will say that the zippers are pretty low quality and you do have to be careful with them, but it’s not a huge problem. Follow the directions online to fold it back up (the pictures here don’t make sense). Once you do it a few times it’s magic. I’m getting another one for next winter so I can have visitors. When the sun gets low I fold up the pod and pile everything on the orange sled and head in. I leave the sledge out there. Heaven.

Great investment. For any outdoor sports or camping. Keeps you dry during rain, comfortable during windy weather, shaded in the beaming sun. Easy two way zipper, roomy, mesh to use for ventilation, clear plastic that doesn’t damage easily. Easy set up and carry bag. Takes practice to put away. Recommend

It was awhile before we needed to use it and when we did pull it out it had a white film all over. I tried to clean with some mild soap and water and it did not come off. It was past the return window so reached out to the company, they responded quickly and gave the recomenation to use rubbing alcohol. I did and it worked, however still left a bit of a haze, so used a 50/50 mix white vinegar and water and cleaned with that and dried well and that was much better. So here is how to manage it if yours has white residue. The company was great at responding, which is why I’m giving 4 stars, otherwise would give less. But it helped hugely at my son’s winter soccer game. Was a bit of a pain to collapse and get back in bag, so practice with it before needing to use it so you don’t look funny cleaning up at a sporting event.

I purchased this item for a couple purposes, though have yet to use it outside. Fall soccer matches can be brutal for us parents. I saw some other parents with these and will feel no shame looking like the bubble boy on a cold and windy day. The other purpose is for Surf fishing. This gives me and anyone I'm fishing with a little shelter on those cold mornings and evenings. I did notice that some of the clear plastic material comes with a haze on it. I tried using windex on it with only minor improvement. It's not the main front window/door, but the sides. Other than that I look forward to using it.

Works well in the arctic. However it seems as though the plastic is stuck to itself and leaves a cloudy film in certain spots. I use it to look at the northern lights, but can’t see as clearly in some areas due to the cloudy film I mentioned. Once I figure out how to clean that, the tent will be great.
