USDA Organic Dong Quai Supplement - Menopause Supplements for Women -4 oz

I've had this for about 3 weeks. I have been taking it straight up. Twice a day. Lunch time and dinner time before eating. I suffer from migraines due to menopause as I had a hysterectomy done a year ago. The migraines have slowed down. Not gone away. The heat flashed have calmed down, not gone away. The symptoms have all calmed down. Not completely gone. I am satisfied with that. . Now I will say this. I have lost 15 lbs since I started using this. Not sure if that was one of the benefits, however I am enjoying it. . I also have gastritis. It has helped me alot. No flare ups. My food has been digesting fine. As far as the taste. I read that the taste was horrible. So I expected it to be horrible. It was actually pleasant. To me, it taste like honey. But I also drink teas daily and I can down ginger and turmeric easy. So maybe my taste buds are just built different. . Overall I gave this a 5 star. I am very happy with it. I will come back when the bottle is done. To let you know how everything is.

The flavor of this to cure is very mild and sweet. I take this daily to help with my hormones and I’ve started giving it to my young daughter now too. The side effects for me are better mood, more regulated hormones, and regulated menstruation. I really appreciate that there’s no fillers for ingredients. It’s just dong quai, glycerin and water. And I really am thankful that it’s organic. I really like Wild and Organic brand and buy quite a few of their products. This is a good value and I subscribe to ordering this tincture so I can take on the daily. It’s way more manageable for me to take this tincture than the capsules I used to take.

Helps a lot

I'm so heartbroken to write this review because overall, I have tried upwards of 15 or more of this brand's products and I've come to trust them. This particular product though is atrocious. This is the first I've had Dong Quai. Is it usually so terrible?? It tastes like the way black asphalt smells in a heat wave, or like gasoline and melting plastic. On top of that, I have a lot of food allergies and this is the only herbal supplement from Wild&Organic I've taken which set them off (was not emergent, don't worry). They are not responsible for any allergies I may have, it's just worth noting. The consistency of the liquid is like a real maple syrup consistency with a deep amber color. All the things I typically want. The bottle and the dropper are both glass. There are measurement markers on the dropper up to 1ml. The bottle states that one dose is .7ml which I find very reasonable and doable. So why do I still give them four stars? Their product is true to their listing, the bottle and dropper are high quality, it's organic and it's alcohol free, the company is transparent with information and their contact information is on their website. As usual, consult with your physician before using supplements and what works for me may not work for others.

Solved pms issues

I purchased this for my mom, who was still experiencing pesky flashes. I read in a tea book that this herbal product might help alleviate related issues with the flashes. So far, Mom has tried it and noticed that it has been helpful as a natural adjunct option. She was pleased that I got it for her, as she said she probably wouldn't have bought it for herself. Summing it up, she said yes it was effective. Decently priced so that she said she would buy another bottle. The taste didn't seem to be an issue and wasn't bad.

Love this herb. Great to boost fertility and regulate feminine cycle. Taste great and works good. Very effective and easy to take.
