Beetles Dip Powder Burgundy Red Color, 25g Dark Reddish Red Dipping Powder

Obviously I’m no professional but I love this product! I have used it twice now and honestly couldn’t be happier!! It’s super easy to use and I love all the colors I got!! I got the mermaid set this time around. The first time I used it I was super nervous and only did two thin layers and didn’t make sure I push my cuticles back and was quick about dipping and tapping my fingers (those are all mistakes I made, learn from me). This product is pretty much odorless, the only thing that smells is the activator and it isn’t even that strong. I recommended this product to everyone!!! The powder jar sizes are honestly a great size, they come almost full and you really don’t use a whole bunch each time so that will last for a long time. The bottles of the liquids all seem light but you don’t use a lot of those either, so I am curious to see how long this set will last. I’m sure I will have to buy more of the polish bottles before I run out of all the powder, which is fine by me!! If you are even thinking about wanting to try this product, do it! You won’t be sad that you did!! The only thing I will add is when you use a glitter color, glitter will get everywhere. I can’t say that that is 100% normal and will always happen, I used it when it was hot out and we have fans running in the house, but i just wanted to put that out there.

I love the way this stacks on top of other colors for a flawless dip finish. It’s not too potent either which I love.

Overall I love it. I will warn you I get a small chip usually by day 4 but that’s it-it’s not like normal polish with all nails starting to chip. My current polish has been on for 2 weeks and it’s all perfect except that one annoying chip. Buffing you nails to take off the shine helps longevity tremendously but I hate doing it because it takes some of the nail surface and I have super thin nails. Removal is a pain but watch a lot of YouTube videos to help. I’m only on my second set so hoping removal becomes easier. Overall I really love the look and hearing complaints from other brand users makes me grateful I found a good brand first try. They are high gloss which makes them look fresh/new all the time. I get a lot of compliments on them. Note the powder color turns darker with the top coat. I can’t say it enough-watch YouTube tutorials for great tips.

So, let me start off by saying I have no issue with the with dip powders! Still going on 2 weeks strong with them! No cracks or anything. My issue was when I ordered these and another brand of dip powder set and I tried out the liquids that came with this set since I had an issue with the liquids from another brand.. but this base liquid was already hardened out. I couldn’t even use it. Then when the top coat came it was super tacky and was in the process of hardening and not able to use. I was super disappointed in the liquids with this, I had to purchase liquids from a whole other brand. Other than this issue I would only purchase dip powders and not liquids

This went on beautifully! I usually use OPI but decided to try this. Not disappointed at all! Love that this color, x563, is sort or sheer. Looks very natural. Used Beetles base/top and activator. Great quality for a great price. Will be buying more.

I love this powder! There is a bit of a learning curve, but once you get it down you can have professional looking nails for weeks. The pictures uploaded are the 4 times I've used the dip powder and has the color used written on it. 3 out of 4 turned out really well and lasted 2-3 weeks before they start lifting. The second attempt the polish was cracking and chipping by the 3rd day, but I think it was user error. I started giving each layer more time to dry between liquid coats and making sure to use plenty of activator at the end. That seems to have fixed the issue. Using this product is really time consuming, but I think the results are worth it. If you can avoid getting any on you skin it goes faster, but I always get a little on my skin and then have to take the time to file it off before finishing the nails. This last time (purple with silver accent nail) is the best manicure I've ever had and that includes when I've had them done at a salon.
