I already have Spark Go and Spark 2. With Spark Edge, I have multiple input channels and also vocal effect. Can’t wait to explore it.

Llevo algunos meses queriendo adquirirlo y desgraciadamente la espera no valió la pena. De hecho estoy considerando devolverlo. El sonido en si no es malo. Los presets funcionan bien y el equipo hace lo que promete (o algo así). El canal uno está muy completo y funciona como los demás Sparks pero pensado para usarse principalmente con guitarra eléctrica, aunque con algo de paciencia se pueden editar los presets y ajustarse para bajo o acústica. Lamentablemente el segundo canal está muy limitado en cuestión de efectos y pretende ser usado para el resto de instrumentos y voz, pero solo como para acompañar al canal principal. Lo que más me decepciona es la aplicación, ya que crashea constantemente además en cierto punto ya no se puede editar “al vuelo” y solo reconoce los presets, lo cual no permite ni siquiera crearlos en casa, ya no digamos si quisiera hacerlo en vivo. Tengo un Spark Go que me encanta, he creado algunos presets en él, pero solo son compatibles en el canal 1 ya que el canal 2 no tiene los mismos efectos y amplificadores, por lo que de nada sirve. Además el canal 2 no sirve para guitarra eléctrica solo para el resto de instrumentos. Estoy seguro que puede funcionar pata algunos músicos pero no me atrevería a recomendar este producto. Ojalá corrijan los detalles con la aplicación pronto.

This is a powerful yet compact and extremely diverse system that would easily cover many uses. I can see how this might become a busker's best friend and the features within this little PA are vast and varied! The Spark Edge is an extremely versatile rig and I'm amazed at how incredible it sounds. We've already put electric and acoustic guitars into it as well as vocals and Spotify and had no problem getting a quick mix and editing presets for guitar and vocal. Spark Edge is a fantastic system!

Incredible bit of kit. I've ditched my Helix and just use the in-built sounds. 8 presets with a overdrive/boost toggle via an xsonic pedalboard is more than enough for gigs. Loud enough to use as a personal monitor against a loud drummer at gigs. Okay in a rehearsal room on its own. Sounds ace through the PA. I also play keyboard through it. Insane that it can run for hours at this volume with all the FX on a rechargeable battery. Editting is intuitive via the app (more so than any other FX I've used) but you don't need the app live if you're happy with only (!) 8 presets. Portability is great - first time my wife has ever carried my amp to an upstairs function room for me!

I've had a couple of months with the Edge and I couldn't be happier. I've used it in a number of venues including churches and lounges. It has earned star reviews for clarity and quality of sound. I often use all four inputs for guitar, vocals, bass and cello and it handles it all with aplomb. I won't go into an in depth rave about the app control of the sound as it is generic to the rest of the Positive Grid amps. Suffice to say it is an eye opener and seems like the gateway to the future of sound control without the need for unending foot pedals. I've recently identified an issue with one of the channels, contacted Positive Grid and they have been quick and efficient at analyzing the issue and identifying the need for a replacement unit. I'll do an update when I get through the actual return process.
