I got this curtain rod to suspend ring style curtains across the top of my sliding glass doors, which measure 72 inches across. This curtain rod is plenty big enough. It is also very sturdy and does not bow in the center like cheap thin ones do. It is just 1 inch wide, but I got curtain rings to fit over it nicely. It was very easy to install all by myself with the help of a stepstool. You should get this curtain rod!

Love how sturdy these are. Replacing old rods that somehow seemed to bow under the weight of the curtain (cheap I guess). These are nice looking (unobtrusive) and fit the bill. Priced nicely too.

I bought this rod to hang the viral Christmas garland in the archway of my home. I measure the space and found this rod to be perfect. My doorway is 39 “, well with the center extension, this rod is too big. Without the center, it’s too short. There is a 4” gap between 36” and 39” doorways that make the rod unusable for a 39” doorway. So, I have an extra tension Rod for somewhere in my house. Just letting you know because I truly thought this would work according to the measurements.

This item is perfect for my dorm. It's lightweight and easy to put together. The width of the rod was perfect for a variety of curtains. Although it wasn't the most durable rod, it did the job perfectly.

I used this rod to hang over our washer and dryer so we had a space to hang clothes to dry and it has held up the whole time we’ve had it! I’ve had it for about a year now and have never had to adjust it !

These rods appear to be of decent quality and are working for my application. However, to say they are "spring loaded" is an exaggeration. If there is a spring built in it's of very short throw, which is limiting on the degree of compression you can dial in. Once installed they wobble a bit, which is disappointing, though doesn't cause excessive sag for me as I'm spanning just a little over 3 feet (using only 2 of the supplied 3 sections). Overall and for the money I'd say just "OK".

Working great for my closet curtain

I purchased several tension rods from this seller, in lieu of damaging the wood frames of my windows. They worked exactly as I'd hoped. Bought some gromet curtains and up they all went, no damage involved! Very pleased with the decision to go with tension rods versus traditional rods.

Somewhat expensive, but no complaints here - it works exactly as promised and looks to be sturdy. I guess those “high-quality iron alloy materials” don’t come cheap. But it looks great and was easy to install. I will update if anything goes wrong.

I bought one for every window. And a really long one for the living room. They hold a good weight, and very sturdy.
