Playskool Kota My Triceratops Dinosaur(Discontinued by manufacturer)

After watching the short video available when you click on this item I just knew we had to get this! We had him step out of the room while Kota was placed by the tree and turned on. Then we entered and when he heard the first roar and saw the head move and the eyes blinking he actually jumped back! With just a little coaxing he came forward and within minutes was all over Kota. The giggles went on forever! He found the eyes fascinating! One of his favorite things to do is put Kota to sleep and listen to him yawn and snore. Feeding him was also a big hit. Was expensive and I hate to think that with the holidays oveer, and great sales starting we could have saved a bundle. I still wouldn't do anything differently though, the piece of mind knowing we had this, and the great fun watching him was worth it!!

This is super cute, bought this several years ago when it first came out for my niece and 2 nephews to share. They have done just about everything to this dino and it has still survived and is still in GREAT shape. It makes noises, closes its eyes, moves its head, will eat a leaf provided with it when purchased. A couple kids (5 and under) can fit on it easily....or even bigger kids....(trust me, we've done it all) It is very sturdy and is now at my mothers house where all 12 grandkids (12 and under) still enjoy playing with it. (The younger kids tend to like it more....my (2 year old) daughter is a little afraid of it right now because it is bigger than her LOL but is warming up to it. Overall, great purchase, very happy with it!

Tried to purchase this product from a national chain before a "doorbuster sale" but vendor had removed all product from the shelves and would not sell it even at regular price. Having an autistic son, he would have been devastated if Kota didn't arrive at Christmas. Amazon delivered - thanks to the vendor we purchased from, things went perfectly. Shipping was right on time as promised!

My daughter loves dinasaurs and when she was little she always talked about them. She is 19 and we saw a similar version of the one I purchased at a local Toy store but this is so much better. I got it for her dorm at college and she loves it. I wish they had it around when she was little. It is a little pricey but well worth the expense if a child loves dinasaurs. It is well constructed and interacts with a touch of the hand. I really don't know how it will hold up under the hands of a little one but it is very sturdy and well made with lots of different responses with a simple touch. Much better than a just a big stuffed toy.

I purchased this item for my 1yr.old son. Which I thought he would get a big enjoyment out of this item. I was so wrong. He is now 3yrs.old. he plays with the dinosaur every blue moon. I only paid $95.00 for this item at target.I wouldn't dare waste anything more than that for this item.

Kota is great I bought it in 2008 for my son and it still going strong but $400 is a lot of money I paid $193 in total this is way over priced for a toy your going to have to pass down it doesn't walk you have to pump him for it to make music it's just not worth $400 SORRY

The look on my 6yr old daughters face when she saw this toy was heart-warming. One of those joys you treasure forever.....It didn't work. D.O.A. right out of the box. Now she has a lesson in disappointment she'll know forever. But I'm hopeful the replacement Amazon is sending will work.

We bought this toy for a 2 year old and his dad and they BOTH love it. The little one is slightly afraid to "feed" him but he does stand with mom and dad when they "feed" him and he loves sitting on his back and talking to him. I am really happy with they way this toy is built, very sturdy and looks like it will last quite awhile. I totally recommend this toy for any child. Just remember that it is big and can be scary for kids under 3 so make sure you acclimate your child to the toy....our 2 yo grandson had no problem with the toy once he saw mom, dad and grandpa with it.

Ok, I bought this back in 2009 for a Christmas present for my daughter... She LOVED it! The only reason I am actually writing a review about it 5 years later, is that it is the ONLY toy she STILL has in her room that she will not let go! She's 9 now! She doesn't actually use it anymore these days and the batteries are gone, but she still loves it! She used to play with it a lot when she was younger, feeding it and riding it. So overall, although it was close to £200 5 years ago, it has been well worth the rather hefty price tag! I'm hoping I can get rid of it before she hangs onto it for another 5 years though!!!
