I just received my 4K UPerfect monitor which has been exactly what I’ve been looking for!I have been looking for a 18” monitor to pair with my laptop for work as I travel andThe 4k option made sense as I needed to use it for more screen real estate.I unboxed the unit, and attached with both the included plugs, and also a high speed usb-c data cable to my laptop. It immediately auto selected to the USB-C option which was great . I chose to extend my monitor and was greeted with a multitude of resolutions I could choose from. I was able to adjust the color / brightness settings to best for my need and mirror my computer screen, and this remained every time I plugged in my computer.User Experience was phenomenal. I was able to connect both Windows and Mac laptops to the screen, and extend the monitor to stream YouTube Videos in 4k. The monitor also acts as USB dock so you only can power the screen directly with USB-C, and then charge your laptop when connecting to the monitor.The colors were vivid and the monitor had no lag whatsoever due the great refresh rate at 120hz. I also mounted the monitor via vesa to a stand which was great for travel.See the video for reference.All in all, a fantastic monitor for travel. I've been thoroughly impressed with the Portable External Monitor, and it has quickly become an essential tool for my work and entertainment needs. The Screen developed a permanent purple line almost exactly 30 days after it arrived. I didn't travel with it at all. Just unpacked it, connected it, and had it on my desk as an additional work monitor. So clearly this isn't very durable, and if it can't last sitting on desk, can't imagine it would do well if I was actually using the "portable" part of this monitor.I did attempt to try to get a return, but since it was more than 30 days after I purchased it, there wasn't anywhere for me to file this request.The picture quality was great and it's super light and thin. But once that line started appearing, it kinda defeats the purpose. I would definitely try an exchange if the company offered.

Unlike most people I don't start drooling at the prospect of two monitors. I just want one good one. I can only look at one screen at a time anyhow and to me more monitors is just a waste of electricity. Most people don't know how to Windows + (Arrow key) dock windows on corners or sides of the screen. You can also quickly switch between one app and the next with Alt + Tab or Windows + Tab. That being said, I just place this 18.4 right over the top of my 15" inch laptop's original screen and put a book behind the external monitor's stand so the whole thing doesn't tip over. I've also tried attaching it to my cell phone and rowing machine watching Amazon Prime and or Netflix. When it's paired with my phone, I really wish it were a touch screen. The screen seems a little dim compared to the 3 LG 4K monitors in my house which might be on account of it being matte vs. glossy. That being said, I can totally get my work done while traveling where I'm mostly looking at before and after views of source code changes or using spreadsheets with a lot of columns. Of the 4K 18.4" monitors on Amazon this seems to have the fastest response time. It would seem you have to contact them to extend your warranty and it doesn't include a carrying case in the box which for this much money you'd think they'd just include one. The buttons to configure the monitor are too small and too close together for my liking. There are two short USB-C cables included. It's fine that one of them is short, because it only needs to reach my laptop or cell phone. However, one should be longer so you don't have to buy a longer cable just to reach from a power outlet to the monitor.
