AQUANEAT 4x2 inch Aquarium Air Stones 10pcs, Aerator Diffuser,Air Stones for Aquariums,Fish Tanks,Pond and Hydroponics

Ordered the pack of 10 for our hydroponic setup after our old tiny stones weren't putting out nearly enough bubbles to keep the nutrient solution properly oxygenated. Soaked them the recommended two hours before hooking them up, glad I read that part since I've had cheaper stones before that just spat out uneven streams if you skip the soak. Once they were going, the output was a big step up, dense fine bubbles across the whole 6 inch length instead of a few weak streams from one end. Ran them off our 15W commercial pump like the listing suggests, tried one briefly on a smaller pump we had lying around first and it barely bubbled at all, so that recommendation is accurate, don't try to run these off a tiny air pump and expect much. Fit snug on our 3/8 inch tubing with no leaks around the connection. Res water's stayed noticeably clearer since switching over and the roots in that tote look healthier a couple weeks in. Material feels sturdy, not the crumbly cheap stone that flakes apart after a few months, and they're easy enough to rinse off when buildup starts forming on the surface. Only downside is with 10 stones and only a handful of outlets on our manifold, we've got a few sitting unused for now, would've been nice to buy a smaller pack for our size setup. Good quality for the price if you've actually got the pump to run them.

All came packaged nicely w no issues. Soaked for about half an hr before tossing them in the pond. Nice weight to them also. Perfect bubblers/aerators set 4’ deep with instant action. Highly recommend! Using these air stones with a 32w air pump with about 100’ airline.

Other bubble stones that I have used, particularly the ones that come in various lengths from around 6 inches to 10 inches really easily. So flimsy that a large order I placed a couple of years ago they were literally all broken upon arrival. These cylindrical units are heavy enough to sit on the bottom and not float up, but they also are sturdy so and do not break

I’ve purchased these a few times and the last box had 1/2 of them that wouldn’t work because the hose b barb wasn’t glued correctly.
