It irons easily and does not drip water
Very pleased with this iron..it does everything it says it does. But there IS No water filler cup or change of filter as advertised...Maybe this is why it is at a reduced price, don't know....the only minor irritation is that the water is used up quickly so keep a jug on had to refill frequently. But it does iron well, is not overly heavy and is very easy to use

Great Value Quality Iron
Well constructed good quality iron. Fairly lightweight and easey to use. It has a good steam output and after a few months usage continues to produce great results. Great value for the price.

Irons well - but instructions need clarifying
The iron is light, irons smoothly and is pointed enough to negotiate buttons and pleats. The flex is long and allows the iron to move freely: as I am left-handed, I really appreciate the flex’s central position on the iron. The eco-steam setting produces quite enough steam for all but the driest linen articles. I have not been using it for long enough to know if the descaling system works well.I have issues with the instruction booklet, though. The introduction clearly shows, and describes, a filling jug and phial of descaling fluid - but these were not included. The jug is important because the instructions clearly state that the iron should not be filled from a tap. (I had already returned a previous order because of the missing items, so this is not an isolated incident.)While the booklet bothers to tell me that I should not iron clothes while people are wearing them (!) it doesn’t explain the steam settings and the temperature controls clearly enough - there are three steam settings, but it looks as though there are only two. The iron is easy to fill (from a jug) but the water level mark is difficult to see. The power light is also difficult to see - not very bright. The iron did make quick and easy work of a large pile of cotton t-shirts, though, for which I am very grateful!

Great performer
After 47 years of marriage this is probably the best iron I've ever had. It's a little bit heavy but otherwise easy to use and does the job very efficiently. Another bonus is the unusually long flex, cuts the need for an extension lead. Would recommend.

Good Value Product
Best iron we have had since the last one! This one seems very robust, easy to use and fill and doesn’t overheat and stick. Does what it says it can.

Best Iron I have ever used.
We have got through some Steam Irons over the years. Never paying over £30 for one, but over the last few years we have purchased one bad Iron after another going through a variety of well known Brands. So we decided to spend a little more and go on good recommendation. We had never used a Bosch before although I have used Bosch tools, Drills Hedge trimmers and such.So for under £50 we decided to give this a try. We were after 1 use immediately impressed. Both of us have used the Iron several times and it is without doubt the Best Iron we have ever had.

Fault developed in my much loved iron
I have been looking for 15 years for an iron that works whilst not hurting my rheumatic hands. I had presumed, mistakenly, that I should opt for a very light steam iron or an iron with a separate steam/water tank but neither produced the result I wanted and both hurt my hand.Last week I read an old review from ‘the Independent’ newspaper. This gave the Bosch iron, this particular model, a very good review. Apparently it’s advantage was in the steam delivery system. So faced with a back log of creased linen, including my great Grandmother’s linen table cloth unironed since last Christmas, I filled the tank from the tap.Now this revealed the only problem with the iron I have found, it is very difficult to read the water level, grey writing on grey plastic is never going to work. However I picked up the iron (heavy) and approached my husband’s shirts setting two dots half steam. The creases just melted away. No pressure needed from my hands at all.I then tackled the linen tablecloth setting three dots full steam. Again the creases just melted away, again no pressure needed.I would recommend this iron to any one. Keep a jug of water near at hand as the iron water tank needs filling regularly.I have recently found a problem with my much loved iron. It has started spitting rusty water over my laundry, it is unusable in this condition. My attempts to get in touch with Amazon have proved futile but I shall continue trying
