I do Modeling and Remote Control on a professional level as a scratch builder. This little guy will drift and is excellent for a beginner. Excellent price and a good quality platform. Great fun factor. On a hobby side of things. This isn't going to perform like a $200 setup. With heavy modding and manufacturing your own parts in some places, you can get this to perform as good as an $80 setup. The axles are not metric nuts to hold the wheels on. They are screws. That was the first thing I changed.

At under $25, this is an excellent indoor drifter for tile and low-pile carpet! Keep your expectations in check and you won't be disappointed. This is a toy grade RC. Do not expect precision engineering and pro tier materials. That said, it's a blast and a great learner model for kids who are interested in RC. It DOES NOT have either proportional steering or proportional throttle. Its all or nothing. But for the target audience and 1/24 scale, it is perfectly acceptable. It has 2 speed settings, Hi and Low. Pulling drifts is easy on both settings. On Hi speed, drifts are sharp and squirrelly. On Low speed, drifts are wider and easier to correct. Both speeds can pull donuts. Tape a few coins to the body if you want to experiment with weight distribution. Great way to teach kids basic physics. The included batteries last a very long time, especially on Low speed. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED FOR BEGINNERS.

Super fun Christmas gift for some grown up boys in my family. Had a blast drifting them around my living room’s hardwood floors! Came with two sets of tires, one rubber, one plastic. Car is fast with rubber wheels, drifts like crazy on the plastic. Undriveable when mixing the tires. Two batteries last a long time. They are a little noisy and bothered the dog. Not sure how long they will last, but they weren’t expensive and really were just a novelty gift.

We got this car for my daughter and the blue race car with lights for my son as bday presents so they could race. The blue race car is by far superior. This one is flimsy and there’s no ability to toggle the speed. It’s all or nothing which is pretty frustrating. It is cute and my daughter loves that it’s pink, but I wish we had just gotten 2 of the blue ones and just our girly stickers on hers. It’s perfect for a beginner and it comes with street wheels if you want them instead of the drift wheels it’s assembled with. The tires are easy to take off you only need a screwdriver and 5 minutes of your time to get them off. It comes with two battery’s, The battery life is long considering that it only takes 15 minutes to charge each battery and they last about 15 minutes too. The design is great it also has a nice chassis with actual pins. It’s a perfect amount of speed for a beginner and is really durable.
