Works great
Very sticky, so be careful cuz it will tear the leaves, narrow and tall, can put in between leaves & stems, plastic is easy to cut, cut it in different sizes & place them on top of soil, one side adhesive, so put some adhesive facing inside & outside. Recently repotted with organic soil, so most of the gnats were caught closer to the soil, even caught some long the sides of sticks. After a couple of weeks, replaced the sticks that was over crowded near the soil. It been a few weeks, only saw one gnat fly.

Easy and work well
So much easier to use than those other sticky strips that you bend onto a stake for plants. These are working well so far and are a good deal for that many traps.

Practical Pest Control with Some Room for Improvement
As a homeowner, semi-handyman, and wanna-be gardener, Iโm always on the lookout for simple solutions to keep my plants healthy. I bought the Catchmaster Dual Action Plant Labels because I was dealing with a pesky gnat problem in my indoor plants. The idea of combining plant labels with sticky traps seemed like a clever way to tackle two problems at onceโorganizing my plants and getting rid of pests. What I Liked:- Two-in-One Design: These traps double as plant labels, which is super handy. If youโre like me and sometimes forget what youโve planted, this feature is a great bonus.- Easy to Use: Setup is a breezeโjust stick them in the soil near your plants. The adhesive is strong enough to catch gnats, aphids, and other small pests effectively.- Durable and Versatile: They hold up well indoors and outdoors. Iโve used them in my living room and backyard garden, and theyโve stayed effective despite watering and sunlight exposure.- Safe Around Pets: With two dogs in the house, I appreciated that these traps are non-toxic. While I still kept them out of reach, itโs reassuring to know theyโre safe if accidentally touched or sniffed. What Could Be Better:- Single-Use Only: Once the traps are covered in pests or dust, theyโre done for. Youโll need to replace them regularly if you have an ongoing pest problem, which can add up over time.- Limited Effectiveness Against Spider Mites: These traps donโt work well for spider mites since those pests tend to stay on the plants rather than being drawn to sticky traps.- Traps Beneficial Insects: If used outdoors, they might trap helpful insects like bees or ladybugs along with pests. This is something to consider if youโre gardening outside.- Small Label Space: The labeling area is pretty small, so if you like writing detailed notes or have larger handwriting, you might find it limiting.- Messy Glue: The adhesive works well but can be tricky to handle without getting it on your fingers. Using gloves during setup might save you some frustration.Value for Money:For the price, these traps offer good value overall. You get a decent number in the pack, and theyโre effective against common pests like gnats and aphids. However, since theyโre single-use only, you might need replacements sooner than expected if youโre dealing with a persistent pest issue. Still, theyโre affordable enough to make them a worthwhile investment for most indoor gardening needs.Final Recommendation:If youโre looking for an easy-to-use pest control solution that doubles as plant labels, these are a great choiceโespecially for indoor use or controlled environments like greenhouses. They work well against common pests but arenโt ideal for spider mites or outdoor use where beneficial insects might get caught. For homeowners like me who want something simple and effective without breaking the bank, these are definitely worth trying!

Genius invention that Controls insects and looks like a normal plant stake. LOVE IT!
LOVE LOVE! This is a genius invention. Manufactured using a high quality plastic materials that are waterproof, while still maintaining the stickiness. The glue has no smell; always a plus. I believe that they are quite effective considering that the gnats have disappeared. They are an excellent value for the price and are super easy to use. Literally peel the sticky side and stick in the plant soil. I am not bothered by the yellow color, but I have a suggestion regarding the appearance. If the color does not appear the functionality, then offer fun colors and include a marker to write on the plan stake.

Death To Mine Enemy. Sorry Not Sorry.
We have a rule for bugs at our house: If you're outside, you're fine. If you're inside, you're mine. I don't care how benign you are. You will be stomped, swatted and sprayed until you are no more. Should you somehow survive, I will return you to the wild so you can warn your fellow brethren. A recent gnat infestation took over our household and no amount of spraying would drive them out. Breaking point was finding several of the greedy little bastards stuck in the paste on my toothbrush -- like, SECONDS after I took it out the tube. I have several indoor plants and I knew one must be the culprit, but couldn't determine which it was. Added Catchmaster plant stakes to every plant, and voilร ! Photo is the overnight result. Yeah, these things are the GOAT. Gnats, your days are numbered.
