Finally, a thick top coat and base coat that actually does what it says! It goes on very smoothly and dries quickly. The second coat makes it last. The polish is not thin on the nails. It is substantial. It really does protect and strengthen. Three coats are even better but you won't need more. It is super shiny. I will buy this again and again! Thank you, Essie.

LOVE this Essie polish! I actually put some on and didn’t get a chance to paint my nails and I feel like having it on helped me grow my nails out. It also is a great base coat - it has almost an adhesive feeling to it which must be what makes the nail polish stay on well.

I absolutely love this clear Essie nail polish! It gives my nails a beautiful, shiny finish and keeps them looking polished for days. The only downside is that it dries out a bit too fast in the bottle, even with proper storage. I’ve had to work quickly to avoid it thickening up or becoming difficult to apply. Still, it’s a great product, and I’ll definitely keep using it! Just wish the formula lasted a little longer.

This is a really nice two and one nail polish. I would estimate that it about doubles the life of my nail polish. I use it as the base and topcoat for my toes and they typically last until the nail grows out which is crazy. I would definitely recommend it is a nice product. I will repurchase when it runs out.

My nails feel stronger. Dries relatively quickly. I use it alone or with other nail polishes for base and top coat.

I like that this polish work as both a base and top coat. I love that Essie is vegan and 8 free as well. It’s affordable compared to other companies that sell vegan ‘X amount free’ nail polishes and products. This bottle while last me a long time so that’s awesome! It gives your nails a shiny top coat and would even work on its own without a polish to give your natural nails a bit of a shine. I do have to say that I hate the way it smells. It filled the whole room the instant the cap came off. I am extremely sensitive to smells so the experience was a bit over stimulating. I even wear a mask while painting my nails to try and avoid the smells but this polish permeated everything. Once the cap was back on, the scent calmed down. So thankfully only one coat is needed before and after the color polish. Edit: It’s been over a week since I painted my toes and there is no chipping. They still look great and are holding up nicely. I painted my finger nails 3 days ago and 2 of my nails have chipped badly and a third has just started chipping. I updated my rating to a 3 star due to this. The polish works great for toes but not so great for fingers

I've used quite a lot of different top coats but this is by far the one that makes my manicure last the longest. Up to 10-12 days and I do rigorous activity so it might even last longer for some.

I’m very impressed with this product. So far my nail polish has lasted a week even after hand washing dishes, never before have I had my nail polish last that long it usually chips on the second day.
