Creepy Crawlies from the Chamber of Secrets
Bought as a gift for our Grandson, this set represents a scene from Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, it features two minifigures (Harry and Ron) with accessories, an old tree from the forbidden forest (covered with cobwebs and baby spiders), and of course, Aragog the large spider. The set has 157 pieces, making it the smallest in the Lego Harry Potter series of 2018 Lego Wizarding World releases, and while it doesn't take too long to complete, the build time may depend on age and the amount of adult assistance given, mainly due to some intricate pieces when building Aragog, which has poseable features. It should be noted that set 75950 has already been retired, so expect the price to gradually increase from the original £12.99 as it becomes harder to find. Overall, a nice little set which can be used as an introduction to the Lego Wizarding World, or as an additional set for someone who's already a Lego Harry Potter fan.

Lego Harry Potter 75950: Aragog's Lair
Just to advise that the Verified Purchase label may show correctly against this review alongside the Vine label as in addition to receiving a set to review I have also purchased a further set as a gift for a family member. We are huge fans of both Lego and Harry Potter/Fantastic Beasts and my Children and I love the new sets.Age Suitability:-This set is aimed between 7 and 14 years old and it was a straightforward build which my Children were able to build mostly by themselves.Size:-This is one of the smallest new Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts Lego sets and has 157 pieces with some small spares.Figures:-The set comes with Harry and Ron figures and obviously a buildable Aragog and small spiders.Features:-The main part of the build is Aragog himself and this set probably isn't the best for anyone with Arachnophobia. I will point out that the clip parts which hold his front teeth do need to be clipped onto his head with care as those parts are a bit more delicate than others and I have had them break on other sets so the best thing is to clip them on straight and in as smooth a movement as possible. Once built Aragog is quite impressive. There is also a small tree to build which has a web shooter on it to shoot at Harry and Ron along with some small spiders to represent Aragog's children.A nice small set and very nicely detailed.

Good little set that's easy to build
This is a nice set and at the current price of a tenner is really good value. The build although minimal is fun to do and is surprisingly detailed. The fact it is so small meant I enjoyed building it with my little lad because it wasn't too taxing for him and it kept his attention. Big plus point. The stand out of this set is Aragog, he looks superb. We enjoyed putting him together (then leaving him about to see if we could scare mum)One thing I will say is there is plenty of small parts in this that will go missing, up the vaccum etc... But other than that I'm really pleased with it

Kids love it
Awesome set, very amusing and looking great. My kids like it a lot, I even spend time on playing with them. The spiders look very catchy. We bought one set in local shop and we liked it so much that we ordered another one as a birthday present for my son's friend. Because kids liked it so much, they want to have separate set each, so soon we will have two exact same at home and it happened for the first time. The price is acceptable especially in comparison to other LEGO sets. Great value for money this time. Here, on Amazon it was £3 cheaper than in the local shop.

Great HP starter set
At the cheaper end of the Harry Potter Lego spectrum but from a very evocative part in the series of books. The set is simple to build but the mini-figs and rather life-like Aragog will be a great complement to any Potter diorama. My son loves it all.

Not as difficult as I thought and loved putting it together!
Lovely little set to add to or start a collection with. This is my second set of Lego from this series (the first being Grindelwalds escape) and I loved it! Took about 45 minutes to put together . Never got in to Lego as a child but I really enjoyed this and appreciated the attention to detail!
