First time shea butter user
I bought this shea butter to make my own chapstick. Before it arrived I was worried it would be hard to portion it out. There were other shea butter options on Amazon that were preportioned and more expensive. It was a wonderful surprise to find it was very easy to portion. If you haven't used shea butter, as I hadn't, know that it is very much like butter in consistency. Solid yet creamy. The chapstick I made turned out wonderful. I highly recommend this product and am excited to try it in more recipes.

Prefer cocoa butter for stretch marks
My first time purchasing Shea butter for my pregnant belly so my nose was super sensitive. The stuff smelled repulsive like old oil stuck inside grandpa’s nightstand drawer, and felt sticky. Would waaaaay rather use cocoa butter: smoother glide and I liked the smell. Honestly couldn’t get past night 3 of applying it to my tummy before I switched back to cocoa butter. If you know how to scent it or mix it with something to make it not feel like your bedsheets are a sticky trap, kudos. I’m sure it works well. It’s just not for me. And BTW, no stretch marks!!!!

This comes in a tub and has a consistency similar to margarine. No strong smell, melts easily and quickly and can be used straight or mixed into other oils to make lotions. Love it.
