Got this for my 6 year old train enthusiast. It’s compatible with his wooden train tracks from another brand we previously purchased. The ferry makes sounds when you press the button, great craftsmanship and durability

This is a must have for a train kid. Yes it's a boat but the dock that it comes with automatically opens the boat to load the train and it's bought me 20-30 min a day more of my kid playing independently. Only wish it wasn't as expensive but seem quality.

I can not wait for my train obsessed 5year old to open this on Christmas. I didn't realize it made noise too! I love brio. All of our brio stuff has help up beautifully with all 4 kids. It's expensive but it will last for grandchildren. Brio makes great and beautiful toys! Screen free Christmas!

My boys, 3 and 6, both love this thing. It has enough space in it to hold an engine and a car or two, depending on the length of everything involved. The track connectors work just fine. At least for now (1 week in) the parts of the ferry that raise and lower as one docks or undocks are still working well and appear solid. They like hitting the "make some noise" button, and it's noise I can tune out easily enough. Good buy.

My son was so excited to add to his train set. This ferry is a wonderful addition! Though Brio is a little more money than some brands it is well worth it. Don’t get me wrong, we do have the cheaper brands too. But the quality of product is really there! So when we can spend more we will definitely buy Brio. In fact they really stand behind their products. One piece had a crack in it, contacted the company, they sent a replacement. Perfect!!!!

Like all Brio products, this is built to last forever. There are two small lights and it makes a foghorn type of "big boat" noise when you press the button. Great fun product. My son loves this thing.

Great boat but be aware that if you have an old one (ours is ~30 years old) the rail docks are slightly different size and not interchangeable which is really frustrating. We had one old dock attachment and thought this would get us two more plus two boats. Our kids love ferrying the trains back and forth.

This ferry is a wonderful addition to any train set. Brio track is compatible with most wooden train sets. We have Brio tracks as well as Target brand and Chuggington and Thomas. The boat comes with two "docks". Our only complaint is the boat sound isn't what you might expect -- but that doesn't stop our young boys from pushing it. :o)

Die Fähre ist hier das liebste Ergänzungsfahrzeug zur Eisenbahn. Sie wird ständig mit allem verladen. Der Mechanismus ist einfach und schlau durchdacht. Die Geräusche sind nicht zu laut, aber haben einen tollen Effekt beim spielen. Das "Horn" macht zweimal ein Geräusch, also auch wenn die Fähre im Wohnzimmer fährt kann man das gut aushalten. Außerdem macht sie einen stabilen Eindruck (wird erst seit 1 Monat bespielt).Im Vergleich zu manch anderen Brio Artikel ein gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.

My grandson was over the top receiving this. Brio always is a step above some of the other brands. Is a great piece to add to his railway and create extra play value for our train set up.
