Waddell Straight Top Hardware Plate,

This Waddell Straight Top Plate was exactly what we needed to replace a leg on our sofa where the original leg fastener fell into the inner workings of the furniture. The 5/16" - 18 thread nut in the center of this 2 ¼" square plate was perfect for the 4" replacement leg we used to replace the old one. It comes complete with 4 screws and is sturdy enough for our application. This is a straight top alignment and Waddell also makes an angle top for furniture that needs the legs set at an angle,  Waddell #2752 Install HDWE Table Legs . I will look for a Waddell product the next time I need to replace a furniture leg.

Exactly as expected. I needed two more of these to finish a project, and I did not want to go to a giant home improvement store for two little pieces of hardware, so I was thrilled to find them on Amazon and even more thrilled that they arrived so quickly. One was a bit crooked, but that did not impact my use of it.

Worked for attaching a child's table leg.

I bought these at the same time I bought new legs for one of our couches that were damaged when the painters pushes and not lifted the couch so they could paint behind it. I bought these in case the threats in the couch base were also damaged. They were not so I did not have to use them. I am planning to use these in a future project.

We bought four of these to go with the Waddell Mfg Co 2508 Round Legs, to replace the stock legs on our Ikea Karlstad couch. After about two weeks, I noticed the front leg was bending to the side. I'd been meaning to get my husband to look at it, and this past weekend while we were sitting on the couch, it broke! Everything was installed properly, but the leg bent out the metal in the mounting plate. One leg actually broke, but two additional ones were about to break.I do NOT recommend this product for couch legs. Maybe a coffee table that you don't put any weight on or something. I am really disappointed. And for what its worth, we are pretty slim people, so it wasn't like we put an inappropriate amount of weight on the couch.

Used these Waddell Straight Top Hardware Plates along with Waddell leges to get my Ikea Kallax bookshelves a few inches off the floor.

I purchased these to attach legs purchasaed at Amazon in creating an ottoman to match an upholstered chair that I had made. I purchased an extra yard of fabric when I ordered a custom chair. With a board, some cushion foam and a staple gun and these screw in plates I made a matching ottoman for very little money.

I had two recliners with legs that were on the verge of collapsing because the legs were screwed in in a piece of wood with no reinforcement. I removed the legs, mounted these babies and have saved my two chairs. They added the extra support so the legs won't bend out when someone sits on the chair.
