Great quality have recommended to others
Having tried a number of parkas in shops and not been happy for one reason or another, I honestly didn't think I'd buy one online but decided to do order one having read the reviews.I did feedback to the seller that this garment requires more photos as that concerned me before purchasing. This is extremely good quality all round very warm with all features well thought through like the warm fleece lining on the side pockets. Not having to layer up when popping out or getting into a freezing car on short trips is great. Many reviews talk about wearing it on trips to Scandinavia but tbh it's needed in the north of the UK.Ticked all my boxes:- very warm able to pop on quickly without layering up.- not tight on the arms as many others were.- dual zip (to unzip from bottom)- windproof- waterproof- can wear it over a suit jacket (if needed).

Very heavy, very warm, no complaints.
Brilliant coat, keeps you so warm. Really good quality. The back is longer than the front so it keeps your butt warm (always important), so if you get straight into the car to drive while wearing it, just remember to pull the back up so you don't sit on it, or you'll restrict your movement. So many pockets for storage, even on the inside. I've not been able to test it in pouring rain, but in thick snow it's kept me warm and dry so I'm really happy with it. The hood is nice and warm although occasionally the fur gets in my eyes if I'm turning (as the hood stays in place), but that's something I'll happily put up with because that's what helps keep it so warm. Also had an issue with the hood as I couldn't see where it buttoned onto the coat, but the seller was able to quickly answer this for me. The popper buttons are actually really discrete, all over the jacket in fact, it just feels like total quality. I love it.So far I've used this walking to work and just out and about in town. It is heavy and bulky so you're not the most agile in it, but for general walking about you're not looking to be, you just want to be warm, and it's perfect for that. I would happily stand outside for hours at the Christmas market in this..

Fantastic product at a good price
Expedition Parka. XXS-3XL, Extra Heavy Wind/Waterproof Cold Weather Parka Jacket, Detachable Hood and Faux Fur Trim, Unisex, 10 Pockets (M, Black) Excellent ordering experience and communications from David at Serendipity Gifts - My order was due to be delivered on 19th January, but even though the jacket had to be ordered from Sweden, it has already turned up today on 16th!I am a slim 5' 10" male with 38in chest and was undecided whether to order a medium or large size as I generally prefer plenty of room in a coat, but in the end ordered a medium, and it turns out to be a good fit allowing a fair bit of room over just a T-shirt. It would easily be possible to wear over more internal layers, although I can't ever foresee the need for that as the coat itself is incredibly well padded and warm. The jacket has a detachable zip-off padded hood and the fur trim on the hood is also separately detachable by means of 4 press-studs. Regarding pockets - the description states that there are 10, but so far I have discovered 12, so no complaints there. The pockets are as follows: Two lower cargo pockets each with a zipped hand-warmer pocket behind, two upper cargo pockets, two external pockets with white rubberised zips one on the body and one on the arm, one zipped pocket inside the storm flap, two internal zipped pockets and finally another smaller internal pocket. All in all, well pleased and this does seem to be incredibly good value for money.

Best Cold Weather Parka
I ordered this fantastic parka Tuesday afternoon and arrived Wednesday morning at 9.30am. I am 6 foot tall medium build, 41 inch chest, there is more than adequate room with the large size, really pleased I did not order the X large. Exceptionally good quality and well made. It fitted perfectly, very comfortable, excellent button up collar, the hood fits well, although it is summer, raining and 16 deg C, I was getting warm within a few minutes. Bought this to use on a shooting range between Oct - March as it gets really cold sitting at a bench for 3 - 4 hours. This Expedition Parka will keep me warm and won't have to leave early due to being so freezing cold as before. This is a product I can recommend. It will be difficult not to use it until the cold weather arrives. Excellent first rate service from David (seller).

Really heavy and difficult to wear, one needs to get used to it.
I wanted to have something warm. I don't mind very heavy coats, I had many in the past, but this is way too much! Unless you don't mind having the feeling of carrying stones on you all the time, don't buy it. It is really impractical. Maybe if you are living somewhere in cold Siberia or Alaska at -40 degrees, you won't mind the weight. But it is advertised on Amazon UK and you would extremely rarely need it here.I am an XL and I bought an L, because of the reviews that warned that I should buy a lower size. It is still huge, especially at the belly area. Does having wide chest necessarily mean you have a huge belly?! On the other hand the arms are quite tight, who designed this?Other issues:1) The hood is also impractical, you either use it, or completely remove it. There is no other alternative, you cannot just simply put it behind your head because it is so thick that it will come back to your head anyway.2) You can't really use it with a rucksack. When you want to remove the rucksack, the whole coat will come down too (they stick together).3) It is so bulky that it is almost impossible to bend your arms and reach the pockets.4) I don't have in general anything against good quality synthetic material, but this one is really unpleasant to wear, completely unbreathable and one feels that it sticks everywhere to your body.I will keep it for my future expeditions to Antarctica ;-(Update: I think my previous one star score was too low. I am starting to get used to it. After a few uses it seems more flexible now. I still consider that it is not perfect (for the same reasons as above). Therefore my updated review of four stars only,
