Very Useful for Grip Strength
Well made, highly useful hand grip dynamometer promptly delivered. For those whose hand strength might be in question, this device can quantify present strength and also provides a grip building unit to increase grip power should it be below what it should be.

Good
This is a quality tester and I like how it is adjustable. The setup is easy, it comes with batteries, and is accurate. The exerciser thing is pretty cool too.

Gym-Grade Precision at Home!
As a casual weightlifter and dad of two rowdy kids, I never thought Iโd geek out over a grip strength testerโuntil the dynamometer turned my garage gym into a legit training lab. I bought this on a whim during Prime Day, skeptical itโd survive my chaotic household. Six months later? Itโs survived juice spills, toddler tantrums, and my obsessive data trackingโand still works like Day 1. Hereโs why this gadget became my fitness secret weapon.First Impressions: Built Like a Nokia PhoneWhen the box arrived, my kids tried commandeering it for a โsci-fi robot arm.โ But the moment I gripped the industrial aluminum handle (swaddled in sweat-proof rubber), they knew this wasnโt a toy. The LCD screen lit up like a mini Times Square billboardโ0.0 lbs staring back, daring me to squeeze. Setup took 10 seconds: Pop in the included AAA batteries, adjust the grip width (Iโm 6โ1โ with bear pawsโ3.5โ setting fit perfectly), and crush away.First test: 68 lbs right hand, 61 lbs left. My 9-year-old yelled, โDad, youโre weaker than Mom!โ (Wife hit 72 lbs. Cue midlife crisis.)Real-World Wins: From Dad Bod to Deadlift God1. Gym BreakthroughsIโd plateaued at 315-lb deadlifts for months. The dynamometer exposed my grip as the weak linkโI could only sustain 55 lbs for 10 seconds. After 8 weeks of grip-specific training (tracked daily), I hit 85 lbs grip strength and finally pulled 365 lbs. My gym buddy bought one immediately.2. Parenting HacksTurned grip tests into a game: Kids earn screen time by beating their last score (their tiny hands use the 1.6โ narrow setting).Discovered my sonโs baseball throw accuracy correlates with left-hand grip strengthโcoach now uses our data for drills. Why It Beats Cheap AlternativesTested a $29 Amazon โfitness grip testerโ for comparison:Plastic vs. Tank: Competitor cracked when I sneezed mid-squeeze (yes, really).Guesswork vs. Precision: Cheaper model fluctuated ยฑ15% between tests; this stays within 2%.One-Size-Fiasco: The budget optionโs fixed grip strained my wifeโs smaller handsโno adjustability.Unexpected Life UpgradesBBQ Cred: Friends now demand grip showdowns instead of cornhole. Prize: Last slice of brisket.Workplace Clout: Brought it to the officeโHR uses it for โwellness challenges.โ My 92-lb score is office lore.Final VerdictFor under $80, this gadget delivered:Avoiderโs cure for $120/month gym fees (home grip training = 3x weekly sessions)Marriage therapy via grip rivalries (spousal PRs > couplesโ yoga)Proof that dads can still out-grip teens (until mine hit puberty)If you want to turn โI think Iโm getting strongerโ into cold, hard dataโor just shut up your cocky kidโthis dynamometerโs your MVP. Now excuse me while I go reclaim my title from the Mrsโฆ

โญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธ very good and sturdy
Really happy with this. It feels sturdy and well made, and the grip is comfortable even during longer sessions. I like that you can adjust the resistance, so itโs easy to increase the difficulty as you get stronger. Itโs small enough to use anywhere too. Definitely a great little tool for improving grip strength.
