So I bought this to connect to my Idoing head unit. It doesn't connect to ECU. That's my head units fault. Both my iPhone and my android pixel 9 pro connect to ECU just fine using Torque app. This is a super cheap and EZ unit. Works fine.

Couldn't get it to work. After connecting to Bluetooth with my phone it asked for a PIN. No instructions were provided so I didn't know what pin to use. After trying a couple common PINs I got it to connect for a second then it disconnected a couple seconds later. I could not get any of the apps I tried to connect, even for a second.

This fairly inexpensive unit (when paired with Car Scanner Pro on iOS or Android) effortlessly pulls codes and feeds the associated app. To be honest, the app is where it's at with these scanners; the expensive hardware is not really necessary. This unit is small, unobtrusive, and most importantly cheap enough that I can stuff one in all of my vehicles and leave it there for about the same price as a hard-wired scanner from Harbor Freight. Side note, I had to pair this through the app and not the BT settings on my iPhone 16, but it works well and does exactly what I had hoped it would do: help me find out why my car's performance was suffering.

Great concept, easy to install, but worked for about a week and then mysteriously won't communicate with any phone, making it useless.

Works perfect with Torq app. Better than any scan tool. Clears codes with ease. All the data you could ever want or need to diagnose. Very responsive graphical information. Buy this for sure.

This part has single handedly helped me pinpoint every issue that it can find on my car and I’m definitely satisfied with this order and this diagnostic test I advise this for anyone who want to do self diagnostic test on there vehicles
