Light weight and good optics at an affordable price
I have a pair of Usogood 12x50 binoculars that are extremely affordable & very good optics that were recommended to me if i didn't want to spend alot of money but wanted decent range and clear optics.I'm an amateur wildlife photographer and although the binoculars do the job i do find at times that carrying the camera and binoculars can be cumbersome or i get a bit tangled up with straps so when i saw that Usogood had released the upgraded AT monocular i thought this might be easier to carry about.I've had the monocular about 2 weeks now and have taken it out with me when on a photography trip and have found it to be much easier than using the binoculars to spot wildlife as it's so light to carry about and slips straight in my pocket rather than carrying it around my neck although it does come with a bag and shoulder strap if needed.I really do like the option of the hand strap on the side which means it's so light that i can just walk around with it strapped to my hand which makes spotting extremely quick rather than fumbling about with binoculars to grab my camera.Another major plus point is focusing as the damping is just perfect and not too fast to bring things into focus and very easy with one finger on the top wheel.Optics are on par with my binoculars and extremely sharp giving a superb detailed image.Another great feature is the tripod mount and i can mount the monocular to my monopod for rock steady viewing.I'm very pleased with this purchase and this is now part of my wildlife photography gear. This gets a five star rating for being so light to carry about and optics are very sharp and detailed coupled with excellent damping on the focus wheel that's not too fast so that it's easy to bring into focus rather than being highly sensitive and spending time trying to get the object sharp in the lens.

Received My Perfect Xmas Gift
Because she knew I wanted a Monocular Telescope and also knew that I had purchased Usogood products in the past and have been very happy with them, my wife bought me this one as a Xmas gift. As I'm an avid bird watcher and a wildlife photographer, this was a perfect gift for me. It is sleek looking, quality and robust built, lightweight to carry, is 12x magnification and is easy to focus with the adjustment knob on top of the Monocular. It has a female thread under the Telescope which fits a standard camera tripod and also the eyepiece accommodates a standard smartphone adapter, both of which I already own. When I'm out and about I always either carry a pair of binoculars and a camera or have them handy in my car just in case I spot some wildlife whilst on the move. This Monocular will prove to be an asset for this purpose because it is so lightweight and with the hand strap fitted, I can have it in my hand all the time that I'm out walking instead of having to carry a heavier pair of binoculars around my neck and bouncing about on my chest. The lenses produce bright and clear images and have proved to be waterproof, as I was out walking in quite a heavy shower yesterday with no problems with misting up at all. When I get a bit more practised to fitting and using the Smartphone adapter more quickly, I'm sure that I will be able to take some excellent photographs of wildlife as time goes by. All-in-all, this Usogood Monocular made a perfect Xmas Gift for me.

Very good monocular for the price!
So, obviously we're not dealing with high end optics here however for the price range this monocular is actually very good!I use these for a bit of wildlife watching on dog walks, but mostly for airliner spotting as they fly overhead. They are light enough to use for extended periods and the unit feels very durable. Image quality is fine, again not as good as ยฃ200+ set, but for the money the image is very good. The 12x magnification is correct - I tried them against a pair of 10x50 binoculars I have to confirm. And for handheld viewing you absolutely wouldn't want stronger magnification - any higher and the image would shake so much it would be useless. This monocular gives a stable enough view and so that's good. The primary lens cap is a bit of a faff - it's secured by a rubber seal, and takes a few goes to get it on but it is tight and secure so no issues really. And finally as a glasses wearer, the image is still decent. I recommend setting the eyepiece to the shortest setting and you'll get a decent enough image width.Definately worth getting for the money!

Great!
For the money, this is actually really good. My worry with 'less expensive' optics is of course distortion and abberation, however, with this monocular there is none, the optics are very very clear. There seems to be a couple of ways to focus too, not just a single knob so everyone should be able to focus, even glasses wearers. The other thing is that it is light, nice and light so its a good alternative to binoculars when you have alot of other things to carry too. There are cheaper ones but I would hold off from those if you can. They also offer a 2 year warranty. It comes with a nice carry pouch with strap and strap for the hand. I would say this is great value for money.

Very impressive
I've been using these when I'm out walking. Lightweight and a good carry case makes them ideal for that. But what is really impressive is the visual quality. Crisp clear focusing in all lights and different conditions. They are also very each to focus. I've had monoculars (and binoculars) in the past where you move the focusing ring backwards and forwards trying to get a clear picture. These are so easy to use and focus in on what you are looking at. The build quality seems very high too. I've not dropped or knocked them to test it but the casing seems sturdy. They are also comfortable to hold, including for long periods. I really can't fault them at all.

Only Functions As Paper Weight
One of the most useless purchases I have made on Amazon. Everything is blurry except if you turn it into a specific dial. I think a cheap camera phone can do a better job than this piece of Junk. Donโt buy this unless you want to use it as paper weight.
