Macsecor 14.1'' FHD 1080P Portable Monitor, USB C HDMI, Plug-Play Laptop Monitor Extender for 13'' -17.3'' Laptops, Compatible with Mac/Wins/Android/Switch

Overall great purchase for people who need multiple screens. Whether for personal or business use, it is wonderful to be able to see multiple screens while working. Easy to set up and use. Comes with a travel case and multiple ways to connect your computer to the screens. Well worth the investment! Only issue is the audio which can be very low.

I bought this in October 2024. When it works, this monitor is great and having an extended monitor for my laptop is such a huge help. These types of monitors aren't the most durable. It worked great until a month or so ago, then it quit working. Would only show the white S1 screen, so I knew it was still functional in some capacity. After some digging, I Iearned that portable monitors are intended for intermittent use, and I was using mine almost every day, and had it plugged into my laptop all the time. To get it to work, I first tried plugging it in/out repeatedly until it turned on, or I gave up. Then, I quit using it altogether and started researching replacements. This is when I learned that they are not meant for sustained use. I clipped it back onto my laptop, logged in, and then plugged the monitor in (USB-C lightning). It worked. For the past week or so I have kept it unplugged unless I was actively using it, and it's been working fine. I am dinging this two stars as this limitation should be front and center in the user manual, and for the sub-par built-in speaker that my laptop will sometimes default to, which is annoying. I'll be in a Teams meeting and barely able to hear everyone. I didn't need to pay for that disappointing 'feature'.

If you are like me - you have had multiple monitors on your desk for years - and you can't live without them. Having to work on anything when you only have a single screen is painful - so much so - I avoid using my laptop for all but the most basic or unavoidable tasks. Now that I found this laptop screen extender - I can once again reach for my laptop for EVERY task - home, office and on the road. The unit connected and powered up with ease (I have a Lenovo Yoga i7, with several appropriate USB-C ports) - with just a single cable. The spring-loaded base holds onto my laptop's current screen pretty securely - and the kick-stand keeps my laptop screen from moving from the extra weight (my hinges are NOT that rigid). I am thinking that if I got the dual-extender - it might be a little more weight-balanced - but - I don't know for sure. I DO have to work on some sort of table-top - the kick-stand doesn't really work just on my lap or other soft surfaces - but - if you have a lap-desk - you should be in great shape. So far, my only regret is not buying one of these sooner...hope you enjoy yours as much as I do!

I recently purchased the 14 inch HD screen extender for my laptop, and I must say, it has completely transformed my workspace! As someone who spends long hours in front of a computer screen for work, I was looking for a solution to increase my productivity without sacrificing portability. This screen extender has exceeded my expectations in every way. Firstly, the setup was a breeze. It was as simple as plugging it into my laptop's USB port and adjusting a few settings. Within minutes, I had a stunning HD display extending from my laptop, providing me with much-needed extra screen real estate. The 14-inch size is perfect for my needs. It's large enough to comfortably work on multiple documents or applications simultaneously, yet still compact and lightweight enough to carry around with my laptop wherever I go. The HD resolution ensures crisp, clear visuals, making it a joy to work on. One of the features I appreciate the most is the versatility of the screen extender. Whether I'm working on spreadsheets, editing documents, or watching videos, the screen delivers exceptional performance across various tasks. It has truly become an essential tool in my workflow. Additionally, the build quality is excellent. The screen feels sturdy and well-made, and the adjustable stand provides flexibility in positioning to suit my preferences. Overall, I couldn't be happier with my purchase. This portable laptop screen extender has significantly improved my productivity and comfort while working, and I would highly recommend it to anyone in need of extra screen space on the go.

This screen is exactly what I was looking for. It’s strong enough to stay on your laptop exactly where you put it without need extra support. I even put it on the left side of my laptop screen (my preference) which means i can’t use the top clip and it still stays in place! And it’s so nice having just a short wire connection needed to the laptop port below it. I will say i notice a significant decline is computer usage if my laptop is not plugged into a power source, and if it’s not it will die much quicker while using the screen (which i’m not surprised).
