This lift saved us from having to frequently call the EMT’s for help moving my husband from the floor. It worked very easily and came charged and fully put together except for a couple of little items that snapped on. The only drawback for me was the weight. Even though it had wheels, it was heavy to lift but it was manageable regardless. I highly recommend this lift. The price was reasonable.

Although it can be a tad awkward to carry around and certainly not the lightest peice of equipment, it has been able to save my back more times than I can count and that alone, makes it a winner for me. I care for my father with Alzheimer's and he has bouts where he is just too weak to stand up on his own and falls to the ground, essentially becoming "dead weight". In the past, I would try everything in my power to get him up which would typically end in a 911 call and/or me just killing my back. Now, I simply get this chair lift, do what I can to get him on it and push the button....up he comes (slowly) with little to no effort on my part. LOVE IT - wish I had found it sooner!

This item can be a lifesaver for a disabled individual who takes a fall and unable to get up by themselves. I was wary spending this amount for something I wasn’t familiar with. I am in my 70s and have MS. Unfortunately I’ve experienced many falls over the years. Originally I was able to get up. As the years went by I have relied on my very strong hubby - also in his 70s. It is getting harder & harder for him. We can foresee it being impossible soon. Our only alternative would be to find someone to assist or call 911. The chair was very easy to assemble, arrived well packaged & on time. Two days later the chair proved it’s cost & weight in GOLD. I had another darn fall - no injuries but I couldn’t get up. Hubby brought out the new chair. I wished I would have practiced because me scooting & getting seated was not a pretty picture I’m sure but I did it! The chair performed PERFECTLY lifting me to access my rollator! No backache for hubby & I was so relieved I almost cried. To say we highly recommend this lift chair is an understatement! One caveat- the weight of the chair is not amenable for someone as small as me. I would have a hard time moving it into position. We do have large home so leaving it out beside the bed works. I would be able to scoot there to use it. I am rarely alone so that possibility is unlikely. A larger or slightly stronger person wouldn’t have that problem. The chair folds up nicely & could be kept in a central accessible place. If this chair fits your needs do not hesitate to- buy it and thank me later! This works well to get my husband off the floor (about 215 lbs). However, it's somewhat difficult for him to scooch onto the seat, which has a rise of about 3" from the floor. It's a little easier if he scooches up one of the seat wings and then pivots into position. This chair lift is also fairly heavy (see specs) though it does have a handle and wheels that help somewhat - but I find it's sometimes easier just to lift it. The remote battery seems to work a long time on a charge. We've probably used it five times and I put it on the charger but the battery still registered full.

This product has already paid for itself several times over now. I hate it when mother takes a tumble but at least I don't have to call the fire dept anymore to help me get her up. I easily roll it nearby and within no time I have her up and functioning again. I told my cousin about it and she bought one for her mother. We are very grateful to you for making a device that actually works as advertised and gives back some dignity to our loved ones. Thank You.

This honestly gave me back some peace of mind and independence. When it arrived, I had my 19 yr old 235 lb grandson test it first. At 4’10” and 156 lbs, it lifts me smoothly and easily. I can no longer get myself off the floor and lifting me was causing harm to my son-in-law and gradson’s backs. I very often fell when they were both asleep too. Now anywhere in our mobile home I can get to where we stored the lift and get onto it by myself because it’s only a couple inches high (which I can scoot onto with no problem) and raise myself up. The 19-1/2” final lift height is perfect for me to use my walker to stand upright. It moves smoothly and slowly, so no jarring movement. I only wish I would have found this a year ago when I first started having problems. I am a very happy 69yr old!

My 88 year old Dad is staying with me after my Mom died. He is very unstable on his feet and has fallen several times. I bought this chair to save calling the fire department to get him up. It works SO well!! He fell yesterday and it was a breeze to get him up. It has given me such peace of mind and it is less humiliating for him than having to call someone to get him up. Of course you need to make sure the person who fell is not hurt before you use this. It is very simple to manage and he had no problem getting on it even though he is quite weak and frail. It lifts them from the floor to a sitting position from which they can easily stand up with their walker. You can see a video on you tube on how to use it. They just get on it and you lift them up with the controls. No assembly required. Well worth the money!

This seat has been a real blessing. My primary reason for buying it was to assist me off the floor when I fall but I also use it now to get out of my pool. It has been the assist I needed to let me enjoy my swim and physical therapy time again without the worry of how I could safely exit my pool.

Very helpful. We've had to use this for my grandma so many times. Saves our backs big time!

When I took it out of the box, the set up was easy. When I started to use it a little plastic piece broke off. I'm not sure if its something I did, or a faulty piece? Otherwise it looks like a very good machine, and easy to use. It folds easy for storage.

The unit does work well and does what it is intended for. However after the third time it was used, one of the plastic brackets that holds the hydrolic arm broke off. So basically the product is inoperable and unsafe to operate!!
