Harley: Original Seat Wedge HL4015

This is a substantial and supportive wedge, which achieves my aim of correcting spine alignment and raising hips higher than the knees when sitting. However, it's quite solid - there's barely a dent in it when 11 stone of me has been sitting on it for 30 minutes - and so not entirely comfortable for my elderly limbs and joints. But I wanted a firmer wedge for use when playing my cello (after using a thinner, softer one that squashes to practically nothing ) and this is firm enough to be supportive even when sitting towards the front of it. And I've found it useful also for correcting sitting position in a too-soft easy chair.

The foam wedge is fine. However on my plastic mesh office chair with 5 casters, the neat tight-fitting polyester (?) cover just slides around on the mesh chair seat as I'm sitting down.I have now removed the cover and just use the foam direct on the chair. This has better adherent properties. It looks ugly but I stay put.

Using my second one of these. the first one lasted just over a year, with daily use it does flatten out, but without it car journeys are very painful for me and this corrects the crap seats they put in cars and also helps with standard chairs too.On long trips i tend to slide it forward and back to slightly vary the angle an this helps prolong the journey.It comes in a plastic sleeve - i never take this off and the case handle allows you to carry it into meetings etc quite easily.

Chiropractor recommended I get a wedge cushion to ease pressure on lower back. Took a chance as didn't really know what to expect. Works ok. Seems tough enough to last a while

Nice, solid seat wedge to help with posture. In my opinion seat wedges, even the best, are never comfortable, however I cannot be without one or my back pain is increased, and this one does the job and is sturdy so pleased with this purchase :)

Very firm, too high for me. Not comfy sitting for hours, but did correct the posture

I think this cushion is better for sitting in the Lotus position than it is in a seat - it's more comfortable anyway. I wasn't impressed with it as a seat cushion because I didn't find it particularly comfortable but that may just be me. I wouldn't want to deter anyone from buying it because it is good quality.
