While wearing sneakers in the hale (house) isn’t customary in Hawai‘i, house slippers are totally maika‘i (good). With that in mind, we updated our tried-and-true Moloā silhouette with the Moloā Hulu, a laidback slipper now crafted in a cozy lightly heathered terry. Offering ample comfort and warmth, the Moloā Hulu isn’t just resigned to the hale, tackling errands beyond the confines of home.

Amazing slippers
In true Olukai fashion, these are some of the most comfortable shoes I own. These slippers fit true to size and are very high quality; they use fine materials and feel very nice. They feature premium, cushioned insoles and feel incredible.I would describe these as true house shoes. They are luxurious in a way that makes them somewhat delicate and I wouldn't want to wear them outside. Olukai has leather slippers if you want something slightly more rugged.I picked these wool slippers because I work from home, wearing slippers all day to keep my feet from getting cold. The wool is incredible, it keeps my feet warm but let's them breathe to avoid sweat. Best of all, I can hand wash them when they get gross; this is a big advantage over leather slippers. Are they worth $100? Probably not. Are they the best slippers money can buy? Absolutely.

Comfy and very high quality.
My last Olukai slippers lasted 7 years. I expect these will too. My only complaint about Olukai shoes (and lots of others) is that you can't count on the sizing. I have 2 different colors of one of their shoes, same size, and one is at least a half size bigger than the other. These slippers in a size 9 were snug at first but are stretching out with wear. My last size 9 slippers were looser. Anyway, great shoes. You may just have to return a pair and reorder to find the right fit.

Quarantine Perfection
This is now my 4th pair of Olukai footwear and my first time trying out their slippers. I've had a love hate relationship with slippers since I usually buy cheap ones and they typically fall apart in less than 6 months. I also have experienced that the comfort of cheap slippers fades very quickly once their insoles wear down. I bought these because I was looking for a longer term slipper solution and I've had a phenomenal experience with Olukai's brand. They stand by their products and when there is the rare issue, they are responsive to resolve the issue. These slippers seem to be much better built than previous slippers I've owned (as I expect from Olukai). I thought the flat soles would not have much grip, but the material actually provides great traction on our hard flooring. I really like that these have the gel insole and decent arch support. I have worn these around all day since I got them and they're tremendously comfortable. My feet usually get really hot and sweaty in slippers which is why I got these less-insulated slippers. My feet still get hot, but only after a couple hours of wearing them and moving around the house. In previous slippers I'd get hot in 30min or less. Overall, these are well worth the money so far. I'll update my review if I run into any issues with durability.***Update 12/22 - I stand by the 5 star review over two years later. They’re still holding up and comfortable after almost daily use.

Perfect house shoes for use with prescribed Orthodic
I did a fair amount of research to find these shoes. I had been wearing Vionic slippers, but it turns out they don't support my "extremely high arches". I got prescribed orthodic inserts and needed to find a replacement shoe. Working from home, I wear these shoes 80% of my awake hours. They are perfect for the inserts. The weight, comfort and quality are all top-notch. I love the fold down heal. It is perfect for when you step out of bed and don't want to fuss with slipping your foot in the whole shoe. I was concerned about them being too warm based on the pics showing a thick fleece. However, the fleece is not very thick and I have no concern at all that these will be too warm this summer. Yet, they keep my feet plenty warm, inside and outside the house. They also look great and don't look much like slippers. I am very happy with them.

Lightweight, comfortable and cozy
I have tried many different styles of slippers for in-house use for literally a couple of years. I was looking for a pair with plenty of space for the toe box (my foot is mildly wide), breathable, lightweight and comfortable. This is by far the best option.I tried the leather version but I found it too heavy on the foot. I am glad to see that the wool version is washable by hand and that I can toss the foot bed in the washing machine.

Overrated and overpriced but still a good slipper
I have wanted a pair of these for awhile but I refuse to pay $100. I was able to get them on a sale for $70. At that price I still think they are too expensive. These fit great and true to size. They are comfortable and add some support on a hard floor surfaces.I thought perhaps these would work for sweaty feet and to a point they do but like every other enclosed slipper there are bound to be hot and sweaty feet moments. There does not appear to be any anti-microbial lining and the slippers already stink to high heaven. The bottom sole is completely flat with no tread. This results in any slippery or wet surface being transformed into black ice and is dangerous....so if you have any plans of taking these on a road trip where there could be water or a spill I would forget it.The fold down heel is uncomfortable and not practical. Overall, I am very happy to not have paid $100 for these. Are they worth $70? Probably not but decent slippers are hard to come by so perhaps it is for some folks and these are decent slippers.

If you want slippers that cuddle your feet, these are the ones you want.
These slippers are warm and comfortable, and you can wear them outside in a pinch. I could see that some folks might find these slippers a bit too warm, as they are made of wool. Well, my feet are always cold, so these guys are perfect for me.I have wide feet, and they fit very well.Would recommend without reservation to anyone. Well, ONE reservation. They are pretty expensive, for slippers. But quality footwear ain't cheap, my friends.
