I finally managed to use this tent at the lake district this week, very wet weather. I wanted to give an honest review. It's our first "big tent" to try out camping properly. It was the wife, dog and me and we couldn't praise it enough. It was easy to set up, 15 mins. The tent comes in an outer (does not have a sewn in ground sheet), you then go inside and attach the bedroom, which is the rear part of the tent, has its own built in ground sheet. Then it has a front ground sheet. You can see in the pic at the front of the tent, there is a visible gap at the floor. I was worried about that, but the tent overlaps it fine and the rain stays clear. It lasted through the rain fine, no leaks at all - it rained for 10 hours one day and 8 the next. Handles the wind well, as long as you set the guys properly. Can heat up during the warm days, but has mesh on all the doors/windows to alleviate that and cools straight away. I like this tent very much and would recommend to anyone. You can't stand up in it and it's not very wide, not for a long camping trip where you would be bumming about the tent - the dimensions are in the product description (i'm not slating the tent - just letting people know the size). I will be buying one of the bigger tents, with a sewn in ground sheet, from the same company as i like this one very much. I will keep this tent for fishing or short trips. Hope this helps.

The tent is fab! The inner tent in huge, plenty of room for a double airbed and bags etc (for me, large dog!). The awning area is big too and comes with a ground sheet. Perfect for extra storage or a cooking area if the weather is wet. I've put it up on my own (the dog wasn't very helpful!) and it didn't take long at all. Instructions are basic but enough. Pretty simple to put up. The only reason I haven't given it 5 stars is that one of the zips of the inner tent came off on its first use (on the last day thankfully!). I tried to fix it myself but failed. Saying that, I contacted the seller and they replaced the inner tent pretty much straight away with no questions asked. So this broken zip may have just been a one off....i hope!

I've had this tent for about a year and used in quite a few times. As with all tents, if it says 4 person tent on the box, you know it'll take three. I've used it on my own and had no problems at all pitching it. I've also used it with my son and we had plenty of room for two large camp beds and a good sized gap between them to move about and change. Although I have many tents, one camp last year really made this tent a favourite. Not long after I'd pitched the tent the heavens opened. It was a torrential downpour. Three friends had massive leaks in their tents but mine stayed dry. With the door propped open as a porch I could see people having to pack up and go home all round me. The front porch is a good size and is high enough to allow you to sit comfortably in a camp chair. I especially like the side door at the back so you can really open the tent up in hot weather and let the air through. Unusually for a tent, the carry bag is quite big so you won't have a problem packing it away. As I said earlier though, I wouldn't advise getting this tent if you want four people to fit in.

Nice and roomy for 2 adults and 2 dogs, plenty of access because of having three outer doors also two separate doors to the bedroom. However when it rains to exit the tent from the side as soon as you open the door zip all the water falls straight down in front of the inner bedroom door. We also put a big sheet of plastic down and brought it up the inside to stop the draft because of the gap all the way round at the point where it doesn't meet the ground

Really great tent, lots of room if there's just the two of you! The big extended porch area is very reassuring for changing out of muddy clothes and the awning will be useful when the sun is beating down. Instructions could have been a bit clearer for tent novices but I figured it out in the end!

terrible tent, let in all the rain, I ended sleeping in my car. the poles broke too so there was no chance of sleeping on the completely collapsed tent. when contacted the seller wouldn't refund or exchange the tent just replaced the poles. wouldn't even give waterproofing spray for next time. DONT BUY THIS TENT. now I'm £££'s out of post as the tent cant be used again.

Both being in our later years our kids talked us into a camping weekend,so I purchased this tent,it was easy to erect taking me about 45 mins from start to finish,I did buy some decent pegs for the guy ropes and a tarp (which I cut to shape from floor pattern) which made it easier to put up without moving to get the shape right.Plenty of room for two old cogers and very pleased with my purchase going on our third trip shortly.

Jag fick fel vara. Jag fick ett leksakshäst. Urkass. Och det är verkligen svårt att nå fram till er kundtjänst. Kommer att dröja innan jag beställer något från er igen.

Dieses Zelt hat 3,5 Wochen Sommerurlaub mit insgesamt 4x Dauerregen und 5x heftiges Unwetter überstanden. Zum Aufbau: bei Windstärke 5 echt nervig, wenn das Biest nicht am Boden bleiben will. Aber da kann das Zelt nichts für. Zu dritt ging es dann doch recht flott. Vom Prinzip her komplizierter als ein Iglu - aber ist ja schließlich auch größer und hat die bessere Raumaufteilung. Bei Windstille - bzw. wenn es nicht gerade stark windet - ist das Zelt beim ersten Mal zu zweit in 40 Minuten, bei zweiten Mal (wenn alle Griffe bereits sitzen) in 15 Minuten aufgebaut. Abbauen geht wesentlich schneller. Wetterbeständigkeit: Nachts prasselte der Regen gegen die Zeltwand, doch dank gutem Gewebe und intelligentem Konzept blieb es innen völlig trocken. Die Schlafkabine ist nämlich innen am Außenzelt aufgehängt, so dass zwischen Innen- und Außenzelt 20cm Abstand sind, die bei einem ordentlich abgespannten Zelt selbst bei dagegen drückendem Wind und Regen eine Berührung der Wände verhindern. Der Boden des Innenzeltes ist besonders stabil, so dass man theoretisch in einer Pfütze bis 10cm Tiefe zelten könnte und trotzdem trocken bleiben würde... Raumaufteilung: In die Schlafkabine passen genau 2 Feldbetten, ohne dass die Wände nach außen gedrückt werden - nicht mehr und nicht weniger. Beim Schlafen auf Luftmatratzen könnten evtl. 4 schlanke Personen nebeneinander Platz haben, dann aber nur Schulter an Schulter. Ich würde das Zelt bei Feldbetten also nur für 2 Personen, bei Lumas für 3 Personen empfehlen. Vorne befindet sich noch ein üppiges Vorzelt, in dem Schuhe, Töpfe und Gegenstände, die zur Not von unten nass werden dürfen, genug Platz haben. Wenn Trockenheit vorhergesagt ist, können dort sogar noch 2 Kinder oder 1 Erwachsener schlafen. Da das Vorzelt eine eigene Plane hat, die an den Rändern leicht aus dem Vorzelt heraus lukt, ist bei uns am Zelt herab perlendes Wasser auf die Pläne gelaufen. Also die Plane bei Regen so umklappen, dass sie nicht mehr herausragt (dann können allerdings die Spannösen nicht mehr verwendet werden, aber gut, bei Regen hat man als Zelter eh andere Sorgen als Falten in der Plane...). In der Schlafkabine ist noch ein zweiter Eingang eingenäht, der direkt nach außen führt, vorausgesetzt, es ist trocken und man braucht kein schützendes Vorzelt. Übrigens ist besonders toll, dass man die Schlafkabine schon mal abhängen kann, während das Außenzelt noch komplett steht. So kann man wenigstens die Schlafkabine bei Regen trocken abbauen und einpacken, denn sie reagiert ja besonders empfindlich mit Stockflecken auf Feuchtigkeit. Ist die Schlafkabine dann ausgehängt, hat man zusammen mit dem Vorzelt innen einen riesigen zusammenhängenden Platz, da könnten dann z.B. mit 6-7 Personen trocken unter der Außenhülle hocken oder dank der Zelthöhe auf kleinen Fischerhockern sitzen und Karten spielen oder kochen. Lieferumfang: Die Heringe reichen zum kompletten Abspannen aus, wir werden sie jedoch für das nächste Mal durch stabilere, massive Heringe ersetzen, wie sie bei großen Wohnwagenvorzelten zum Einsatz kommen. Die mitgelieferten Heringe haben das Zelt an der Nordsee zwar bei stürmischen Wind gut festgehalten (und das, obwohl der Wind echt heftig am Zelt gezerrt hat), verbiegen jedoch leicht, wenn sie auf harten Boden treffen und man nicht aufpasst. Deswegen werden sie ersetzt. Selbst wenn man das Zelt nicht perfekt zusammen legt, passt es gut in die mitgelieferte Tasche, was sehr angenehm ist, wenn man auf einer matschigen Zeltwiese alles "in der Luft" zusammenpacken muss und das Ganze nicht komfortabel auf dem Boden zusammmenrollen kann. Die Anleitung ist idiotensicher, kurz, knapp und bündig mit Abbildungen. FAZIT: Ein komfortables Zelt für 2 Personen auch für etwas mehr Gepäck, bei Regen und Sturm bewährt (3000mm Wassersäule sind ja schon leicht überdurchschnittlich, das normale Zelt in der Preisklasse hat 2000mm) und intelligent konzipiert. Darin kann man ruhigen Gewissens auch länger als nur ein Wochenende Urlaub machen, selbst wenn Regen droht. Tolles Preis-Leistungsverhältnis!
