Elgento E12009N Stick Hand Blender with Stainless Steel Blade, Ergonomic Design, Compact and Easy to Store, 200 W, White

I bought this to blend my homemade soups. For the price, I wasn't expecting much honestly, trust me when I say, I was VERY happily surprised. It blitzed my butternut squash and chilli soup up perfectly in seconds!! Having never used a stick blender before, I wasn't too sure how to use it but this product is so simple and easy to use, plus, it is so easy to clean, even your husband could do it! I'm over the moon with my purchase.

Monitor the price on this device before buying. I purchased at just under £12 but I have seen it priced at a little over £17.This gets 5 stars from me because for the price I paid it does a good simple job. It blends and chops small enough to a smooth consistency suitable for making soups, herb infused oils etc, something our more expensive blender/ masher doesn't achieve.

Basic, and bought during lockdown whrn an under guarantee expensive one had stripped the plastic cogs away from where it fits into the main body. No sucj probleems with this as it is a one piece moulding and indeed doesn't strip down for cleaning, which for my fairly modest needs (soup mostly) is the only drawback.It simply works,

For 5 months, this blender worked very well: I only used it to blend up a tin of chopped tomatoes for a pizza base sauce. It was reasonably easy to clean, in that I just rinsed the end under the cold tap.Sadly, after 5 months, I came to use it again and it just makes a noise without spinning the blades. I have tried fiddling with it but couldn't get it to work again so it is now in the bin. A bit of a shame from an environmental standpoint but it did only cost ~£10.

I didn't realise that this is ONE piece. Usually, stick hand blenders have two pieces so that you can separate the bottom for easy cleaning. This has no such option! It is a single piece with a cord attached and trying to clean the unit without getting the cord wet was tricky.I had no choice but to use it as had nothing else at the time, but will be giving it away the minute I get a new one. The only positive point is that it did a good job of pureeing my soup.I do not recommend.

i am happy with this hand blender as it is so easy to use, it's lightweight and easy to clean.i would definetly recommend this blender to anyone, great value for the small price.

Absolutely useless! Disappointed to find it doesn’t come apart for cleaning and the cup part is so deep that the food to be blended goes up inside and doesn’t actually get chopped by the blade. Now replacing with a different blender as utterly useless!
