These are perfect for my military uniform. They stay in place and are comfy for all day wear. I never have any issues with the clips opening or losing grip of my shirt.

Have bought the black version several times and satisfied with the product. However, the white version came with some rubber clips that are very hard to use and are not at all practical. It should be specified if the white variation was going to come with different clips!

Uncomfortable and bulky under clothes

I bought these because I am of a shape that causes my shirts to come untucked anytime I bend over. I think they work great. The stays aren't for guys with large thighs. Mine are fairly large and the thigh strap is fully extended and still requires a bit of stretch to get them to buckle. Granted, I could wear them a bit lower and extend the shirt straps, but they're pretty comfortable as is. I've only worn them twice as of this review. Some suggest wearing around the house to get used to them but I don't think that's necessary. I wore them straight to work. The clips are kind of noticeable from an outside viewer if they know what to look for. Based on my instructions below, they're generally hidden by pockets or your pant seams. One word of caution, this is something else to get out of the way if you have a gastrointestinal emergency. You can't pull your underwear down with them in place. Unstrap them from your thighs if needed. Getting the shirt adjustment right is a bit finicky at first but I figured out a trick. Adjust the middle strap to be about 6 inches long and the other two about 2 inches longer. Clip the shirt straps on the shirt first before putting the shirt on. Clip the middle strap to the seam on the side and clip the front and back straps about 6 inches from the middle. Put the shirt on and strap the thigh straps to your legs. Slide the thigh straps up or down till the shirt straps are the preferred tension. Make any fine adjustments at this point.

Very useful contraption; however, be prepared to be made fun of by your wife/gf/sister/etc… the straps material is identical to bra straps so basically you are supplying them with ammunition. The trident design of the straps is not ideal. If you clip all 3, the shirt gets pulled towards the side (the center strap). I ended cutting off the left/right strap and only use the middle one. When the sides of the shirt are pulled straight down, the front and the back are unlikely to move up or untuck. Obviously this depends on your body shape, I am relatively skinny. The loop which goes around the thigh is flexible enough to be comfortable. It’s not very tight. I would compare the experience to wearing a tight fitting boxer short. You get used to it pretty fast.
