WRC - FIA World Rally Championship (PS3)

This is a great game. It has got excellent graphics. My husbant loves playing it. I recommend this game very highly.

Finally a break has arrived from a tire-smoking obssessed world of dirt series (i must stress at this point that i only recently discovered this title as im not up to date with things and i am aware that the third instalment of wrc is ont its way). I must admit that the graphics in WRC 2012 aren't top notch (they were much better in the first instalment of the dirt series). Another problem is car noise - the only car that sort of resembles a noise made by rally cary is a subaru sti, all the cars in JWRC make exactly the same noise as do those in s2000 category, citroen c4 sounds like a vacuum cleaner and so does the mitsubishi evo. The career mode is a tad too lenghty and bores out at the end. And the producers couldve made more than just six stages for each rally. But what I like about this game is the official teams and drivers in all categories, the official WRC calendar and all that hustle of getting sponsors and cars in the career mode. Car handling to me was very good, 4wd rally cars powerslide through the corners as they should do (which in dirt 1 was very difficult to achieve), the damage is realistic and really affects car's performance and handling.Overall, its a solid simulation game. 4/5.

If like me, you had been waiting a long time for the PS3 release of WRC after having really enjoyed the PS2 version - this will be a disappointment. I am just going to list the issues I have faced in the last few days -1. Loading time is excessive.2. The graphics are so so so so BAD !! One dimensional buildings (almost), Flaky load screens, cars with muddled dimensions, you name it - it has gone wrong in this section, horribly wrong. I suppose, those of you that play desktop versions of racing games will find the graphics quality experience even worse.3. Advanced Controls are more suited to an actual full on steering wheel setup, not the PS3 controllers. Try doing a reverse skid turn with a controller!!Anyways - you will probably still buy this game if you dig WRC, if not - i can see you drifting towards Drift 2.

First off, i live in the United States and apparently this game is game is never being released here in the states so i had no other option but to import it from our brothers in the UK. this game is WAY better than the more recent titles like Dirt 3 since it is all about the exhilirating sport of rally and not about the gimmicky Gymkhana or Offroad truck racing. the graphics and menus may not be up to par but the fun and the physics are there. this is like a healthy mix of Colin McRae rally 04 mixed with Rallisport Challenge 2. everyone should check it out for this price and HOPEFULLY this game comes to America some day so that everyone can enjoy games like these.

Not good product description this is what I got not what I payed for!!!!

This is a great follow up to the older WRC games. the offline is brilliant, providing a way up to the best WRC cars in the world. Download packages from the PSN store give you more cars including historic classics. However, they have taken shortcuts in the developing of this game. They have used the same parts of tracks joined together and just renamed them. The game is good though, and the online is also brilliant.

glad I bought it. hard at frist but get easyer after a while . braking and costimising helps alot. enjoy it.

Es un juego muy completo, buenos gráficos, variedad de circuitos y no es fácil ganar las carreras. Inconveniente:que se hace necesario el accesorio de volante para moverte mejor con los coches. Lo recomiendo a todos aquellos que quieran disfrutar de la conducción desde casa como verdaderos conductores de rally.

日本語版が待ちきれず購入。Dirt2やGT5のラリーとは別物と考えた方が良いでしょう。ハンコン操作は非常にシビアで、ついついハンドルを切りすぎてしまいます。画質もリアル指向ではないので、GT5とかと比べるとかなりレベルが落ちます。運転に慣れるとおもしろいかもしれません。唯一、秀逸だと思ったのはエンジン音くらいでしょうか。結構ラリー車っぽい音がします。
