Purchased the durable pupsicle as my rottie figured out how to pop the treat inside the regular version. I was hoping this would take him more time. Nope, it takes him about 2 seconds to turn it on it's side bite down and pop the top off, then eat the ball treat like a cookie dough ball. How to get around that? Kong's squeezy peanut butter stuff. Use it like glue on the bottom and inside the holes once you screw the 'lid' on. Rottie licks at the squeezy peanut butter and then the pupsicle instead of biting the toy open. This engages him for approx 10 minutes vs 2 seconds. Good luck power chewer owners!

I bought the molds as well and the recipe possibilities are endless. The dogs are entertained for a good 20 minutes. I put them in the dishwasher to clean. I've never had any mess on the floor, but that could depend on what the pupsicle is made of and how fast it melts. Very sturdy, though I could not say how they would stand up to aggressive chewers. My dogs don't chew it, they only lick them clean and leave them.

Its not full proof indestructible. Granted, we have a bull dog. If you take it away the moment the pupsickle is gone, we can save the ball. Refill powders seem pricy but we are experimenting with home made recipes.

The item did not last 10 minutes with my 65 lbs lab. 😢

Purchased this with the molds for my son’s dog. He loves it. My son throws some wet kibble into the mold to freeze and it keeps the doggo busy for a while. He is quite happy with it.
