Drill Guide for Straight Holes,STD1000DGNP with 17 SAE Size (1/8" to 3/8")

This is one of my favorite tools. For someone who can't drill a straight hole, I can with this. I can find the right size nail or screws for the job I want to do. This tool is accurate, and durable. It's great for people like me that need to visually check twice and mark twice. A great value and stand up to a lot of abuse.

Very solid works as intended. The cutout for drilling into corners is nice as well. Take care of your tools they will take care of you.

Useful addition to the toolbox. Older and/or cheaper quality drill bits maybe a little smaller or larger then what is stamped on them and this drill guide has many holes that are slightly larger or smaller then most common sizes if needed. This guide is thinner [and more expensive] than other drill guide blocks making it more difficult to clamp to the work & it needs to be clamped tightly or or it may turn into a spinning piece of metal. I use a couple drops of lubricating oil and work slow to keep the drill bit cool.

Just as advertised. Good quality materials. Does the job at an affordable price.

Awful. Garbage. Junk. I don't often say that, but this item is so simple, and yet it does not work. Received #1 and evaluated the hole sizes. 5-7 of the smaller drillbits wouldn't fit, and the other ones that did fit were so sloppy that you could drill at an angle. So it won't work as a drill guide. Sent it back and got a replacement, and it was of similar poor quality. It's a paperweight at best.

Truthfully, I wasn’t quite sure what to expect. I figured I could always aim right where I’m trying to drill without a guide. But once I got it, I discovered it allowed me to drill in places that would be very difficult like corners or round objects. It is very solid and I think it will last a long time. I got thinking about all those times in the past that I’ve had trouble getting a nail or screw right where I wanted it because of an edge or corner. I anticipate that will be much easier now. It also has guide marks on the side so you can be sure of exactly where you’re drilling. So if you draw a line, you can lay it right on that line. I think it will come in handy in the future.

I've seen better ones but this one is okay you got to grip it a little bit more steadily then you can do what you need
