UK Filco Convertible 2 MX Brown Tactile Keyboard

Nice no-nonsense keyboard - Read for bluetooth instructions
Used as a keyboard for programming on, wanted something where I wouldn't make errors. In general this does the job great, the tactile feedback of the browns and the fact that the keys are all in the right place make the keyboard perfect for the job.Perhaps for £145 I think this is a little expensive, I think perhaps £80-90 would have been more appropriate. However all of the other mechanicals I found either had annoying 'gamer' features, a lack of bluetooth or a strange layout/missing tenkeys which I use in software such as blender. The bluetooth instructions included only go up to Windows 7.Luckily I figured out how to pair the keyboard under 10:-Follow the instructions in the leaflet to put the keyboard into pairing mode then:-a. Right click Bluetooth in System Trayb. Choose 'Join a personal area network'c. Click 'Add a device'd. Select the keyboard, then click 'Or try entering a passcode on it'e. Type the displayed passcode on the keyboard and then press the enter key. It's now paired. You're welcome.

Ooh, it’s lovely...
Fantastic feel.Easily pairs to a variety of devices, which is really handy for switching from PC to phone, for example.Caps lock light never worked on mine, but couldn’t be bothered to return as, well, you can see that the caps are locked quite easily…Use daily for work, and have replaced batteries once in about a year.Comically heavy and durable, so no good if you want to use it on the go.Re. noise; It is lovely and clacky, but not distractingly so in a normal office environment.Buttons don’t move at all.Was a bit wary about the price, but when compared with slightly less expensive similar keyboards, the quality far exceeded those, but they all had illuminated keyboards, which I suppose is the pay-off.Still, if you’re going to spend this amount of money on a keyboard, it’s likely that you know where the keys are…
