Syphon SoundPro Bluetooth Helmet Speakers for Motorcycle, Ultra-Thin 9.6mm

Product arrived really quick, packaging was great! Product was easy to install, quick connectivity, design and comfort is great! But as for functionality, after I installed them into my motorcycle helmet I noticed one of the speakers is very soft or muffled, it’s barely half as loud as the other speaker. My product is eligible for return/replaced by July 19. I opened the product July 4. It is now July 7. I cant seem to contact the seller directly, but I requested a return/replacement through amazon. It drives me nuts riding and only one side of my helmet has music and the other side sounds more like a faint echo, if even that. I tried adjusting my settings on spotify and youtube music to see if it was the platform I use to stream my music but that isn’t the case. After a couple of days that faint speaker actually cut out for 10 minutes while riding. It continued to cut in and out during use before I reached out to customer support. I would like someone from Syphon Sound to contact me asap about this problem. I would like a replacement, if not, then a refund would suffice. Either or, id like to resolve this issue instead of waiting around not enjoying the product as it is intended. Update as of July 30, 2025: I got in contact with Travis from Customer Support of Syphon Sound. He was VERY helpful and kept an open line for communication. He advised me to send my unit to them and either they will fix my unit and resend me the same one back OR they will send me a new unit. I sent my faulty unit to their address (at my expense) on the 15th and it got there on the 21st. They sent another unit out to me on the 22nd and I received my new unit on the 26th. I’ve reinstalled them into my helmet on the 28th. So far, this unit works so much better than the first one. Both speakers are equally loud and clear. We shall see how well they hold up through time. I hope this is a new unit as I dont know for sure, if they just fixed my old one and sent me the same one back. If this unit craps out in under 6 months then I will know for sure that these speakers are not built to last. I will just have to wait and see how well they hold up. I REALLY hope it WON’T be the case of Skull Candy Brand headphones that are built with great sound but doesn’t last after a while. I messaged Travis for a follow up asking what was the issue with the first unit but he only told me the tech noted it was faulty with no other details or info that could’ve caused it to crap out on me. I will come back to edit this review if something happens in the near future. But for now, I will change my two star review to a 5 star review. Only because they corrected the problem and was very prompt with communication and quick to send me a “replacement” only after they received my unit. Second Update as of December 28, 2025. Speakers are holding up well, still loud and crisp. I use it 5 of 7 days a week. I ride to and from work daily on my bike as it is my only transportation. Always listening to music while I ride has transformed my riding experience. It’s safe to say that these speakers are great and I am still a satisfied customer. They handle well in rain, shine, wind, and everything in between.

I bought this for my second helmet which is a HJC I-11 I ride on a naked street bike. It Fits the form fitted speaker mounts great even with enough room for the cushioned speaker pads. Great sound even with a little wind noise easily over volumes the wind. Nicely mounts and like that it can adjust song selection and volume with an easy rotation of the mounted power unit. I did not want a unit to talk on the phone or talk to others if in a group. For me this was great. I have two other helmets that have communication Sena units and these speaker are far louder than either of those units. It comes with 3 mounting options. A spacer that can be used to move the speaker toward ear, no spacer and mount just the speaker pod, or snap on the speaker cushion to add a little bass tune to the speaker or a combo of this to fit properly to your helmet to ear spacing. Simple Bluetooth connection with a simple pairing to phone to playing unit. For $199 super fast free shipping through Amazon made this even batter.

I ride ALoT I’ve used different types of ear buds / helmet speakers and these are by far the worst sounding crap!!! I can not believe the price of these. I was stuck using this crap in my helmet alllllll the way to Sturgis SD from new castle PA Yeah …. sUCK!!!!! Doesn’t cancel noise AT ALL The outside the helmet turn style function is the only freaking thing that’s nice… I didn’t believe the reviews I’m like it can’t be that bad.. No they ARE worse Don’t do it! You have been advised…

These things sound amazing. Plenty of bass and clarity. My favorite feature is the volume and track switch. Super easy to find and use with gloves on. Just rotate it!

Price is a bit atrocious hence the 4 stars, but these are nice, fit well, easy install, good battery life and sound quality with easy controls

Instant bluetooth connection, have never had anything pair this quickly. Clear sound, can be turned up way louder than I would even need. There is a mic in the ear piece that is basically pointless, can’t communicate on phone calls can only listen, but for just music they are great

I was pretty excited for these based on other reviews but am very disappointed in the sound quality. With the larger pads on (for better sound quality according to the instructions) they are waaaaay too thick to fit any stock helmet without pressing painfully on my ears. I used a tool to excavate some foam from the helmet to make the speaker pocket deeper (both my helmets are new this year and both had shallow speaker pockets but they were nowhere deep enough to fit the speakers comfortably). I kept it shallow enough that the speaker is tight to my ear but not pressing painfully. The speakers have plenty of volume so I can easily hear the music but the sound quality is very poor. I would equate it to the free earbuds given out by airlines on long flights. If I turn it up loud enough to clearly hear the music, the sound is tinny and uninspiring. On my latest ride I was actually so annoyed by the sound I eventually turned my music off and listened to the drone of the motor. I wish I had saved my money for something else. Update: I am returning these. I tried every combination of attaching and using the two different included pads and nothing worked. They either have to press painfully hard against my ears to sound “okay” (a mild amount of bass and decent mid-range) or back them off a little bit to relieve the pressure but then I have to turn the volume up and the sound quality is terrible - only the highs come through so it’s very buzzy/tinny and terrible sounding. Like the bray of an inebriated donkey tumbling down the stairs.

If you like to listen to music or audio books while you ride, And you want it to sound good these are fantastic. I just rode 6k miles with them and the battery time was not exaggerated. They will run full blast for the full 10+, I recharged them before they ran out but I did hit at least 10 hours first. The phone call mic was fine if you are stopped and can open your face shield. Closed helmet sound like it’s in a can. These are for those of us that don’t need intercom. The price to quality was better than I expected. I honestly couldn’t be happier with the SoundPro. I would recommend using the ear cushions just the maximize the sound quality. Oh and I tested these at 95mph and listened to my audiobook without issue. I don’t typically have this much good to say about very many products but these earned it.

I've had three Sena units but the Syphon SoundPro wins with better sound quality and volume.

Nos encantó, gracias

Works well and fits good.

Really happy to have music in my helmet now, I can hear my music pretty clear up to around 160km/hr. Connects quickly to my phone and was super easy to install.
