NADAMOO Tub and Tile Refinishing Kit White, 1kg / 35 oz, Without Tools

Amazing! I have tried so many name Brand tub epoxy products, none compare to this one!

I normally don't take the time to write reviews, but I'm so impressed by this product that I am making time to help others in need of a good tile paint. I'm a professional handyman and was hired to paint two bathrooms - both the wall tile and the floor tile. In the past I have used Rust-Oleum tub and tile paint - but man did that stuff STINK. The fumes were so strong I had a headache for days and it was hardly possible to finish the painting. I was dreading this new project thinking I'd use the same paint, until I found and used this paint on Amazon. What a difference! Not only just in smell (this paint is barely noticeable in smell and less smelly than typical wall acrylic paint), but this paint is so much easier to apply than Rust-Oleum. I believe it did take an additional coat more than Rust-Oleum but it's well worth it not having to breath in harsh fumes, coupled with easy application. I did struggle with knowing how much paint to buy for my project, but 3 cans of the 35oz product was more than enough to paint about 3 coats for each bathrooms' walls and floors (1 small and 1 medium bath). I used the brush that came with the tools which worked better than my other stiffer brush, as you will want to use a soft bristle brush for this paint. It took about 3 coats and in some spots, 4 coats to get the tile just right (I was painting over dark brown tile, so if you have a lighter colored tile, you should be able to get away with 2-3 coats). I used an orbital sander and the sandpaper that came with the tool pack option. I didn't go crazy on the prep work - just make sure you get a decent scuff with sanding and a good vacuum/wipe down and you'll be good to paint. I will definitely be using this paint again if I need to paint more tile.

I have an extensive background in residential painting and have used many different types of paint. Here are the pros: very low odor and dries quickly Here are the cons: very unforgiving paint- shows every little thing and starts to set up too quickly so you have only a few seconds of work time/wet edge. My enclosure was in horrible shape after 50 years of soap scum etc. I razored off layers of scum that would not come off with cleansers. Then I acid washed, using the Lysol toilet bowl cleaner, and sanded with a 220 pad, rinsed well and dried and then tack clothed everything. My first coat I rolled on with a 1/4" mohair roller, wanting a bit of a stipple first coat. It dried within 2 hrs. then I sanded that down with the 220 pad, vacuumed and tack clothed. The stipple did not smooth out much. The first coat was ok but definitely needed a 2nd coat. My next coat I decided to dry a foam roller but interestingly it yielded just as much stipple as the mohair. Sanded that down again after it was dry and there were still areas that looked a bit faint. So my last coat I decided to try rolling and then very quickly back brushing, knowing I would have brush strokes but I would hopefully have a "smoother" to the touch sort of final layer. And yes that's what I got. Rounded corners are tough. You have to work from the outside edge moving towards the corner but not going past mid corner and from top to bottom and you've got to move fast! Then do the back wall to the next corner and then finish with the last short wall. I did the bottom last. If you're looking for a quick drying, one-day sort of make-over that will help you to feel like you're climbing into a cleaner shower, and you're ok with the surface looking less than a professional/factory finish then it's worth trying. If Nadamoo offered a professional spray-on option this could be a winner. Now the big test will see how it holds up to actual use. Will it show every mark, start peeling and how will it hold up to cleaning? I'll probably post another review in about 6 months to let you know.

This truly is the best Tile Paint you will find for your bath or shower. I have previously tried Epodex and Rust-Oleum on this project and both did not adhere! When I ordered and applied Nadamoo's tile paint it was very easy to mix and apply, was odorless, and left a nice thick, clean finish. Overall, this product works great and I plan to only use this paint going forward given it's ease of use and value given it's low cost.

Like other reviews mentioned, the prep is work is the most time consuming. I used the roller and was able to get 2 coats out of one tub. I felt it needed a 3rd coat so I bought a second tub, ended up doing a 4th since I had extra. If you don’t look too close it looks nice but there were drips and other irregularities that showed up while drying/in between coats. I tried to sand in between coats but the sandpaper they provider was not up for the task. Overall happy I did it but think this will be a temporary fix, and will likely replace the tub in a few years
