Totally keeps his foot dry in the shower but is pretty tight on his leg and he doesn't have very big legs but it's doing the job

My husband used this item for 2 months while his foot healed from a diabetic ulcer and toe amputation. Was very good in protecting the area while he showered. Material was very durable. It was a little tight around the leg but was not overly uncomfortable. There was never an issue with water getting inside of the boot.

I had foot surgery. This kept the bandages rather dry, not as dry as the very large rubber cast protector that you actually blow the air out of for a vacuum packed leg before you shower. I would not submerge my foot in water with this but it did ok for showering. Again, I did not have a hard cast, just the bandages on my foot that I couldn't get wet. I would not say its water proof, but more water repellant

Great idea, I have had the longer ones up to the knees, for years now. One of those that was pretty old, finally started to split on the seams after years of abuse & duct tape wasn’t working anymore. So I decided to buy this short one to replace the longer one. Because I only needed to cover the foot this time. Worked well for about maybe 3-4 times. Then I used it again, bandages all over my feet that I couldn’t get wet. Suddenly, it felt like my foot was in a lake. Because it was. All my bandages were soaked, which was not a good thing at all. Cost me a lot of time to redo them all, even thou nurses are supposed to; I didn’t have a choice. It was from the top, around that hard plastic rim; no matter what I did water just kept getting into the bottom of the plastic; covering my foot. Originally it was easy to use, just slide it on. But obviously the fit wasn’t there to keep the water out successfully. I wish I could send it back, definitely not usable so it was essentially a rip off.

This foot cover worked well when I had a foot surgery and could not get my foot wet for a few weeks. It was airtight. A good value. I used it for two operations- still in good shape. Hopefully there will be no more. It beat using a plastic bag that had to be taped up around the leg.
