For daily shavers. Being a daily shaver it isn't possible to have blade run over all the time. This sia an alternative and a very good one. For office goers or people who like to go clean shaven, its very good. Excellent for Wet shave. Good on skin protection, doesn't give cuts. sib=ngle charge will give you multiple days of shave. Light weighted. Good ergonomic design. Has a skin iq feature which works, blade pressure will adjust in the neck area to avoid reddening. Great deal for value. Compared to Braun, this gives a better wet shave with foam. 5 Years warranty is good.

It's not effective for hard shaving hair. It only works 50% of the price. The company should improve this, because people pay so much for Philips, and what they get is a matter of concern. Philips should improve quality.

Writing this review after a month of using the Phillips electric shaver. I found this to be the perfect solution to constant redness and itching that I used to undergo everytime I tried to have a close shave using Mach 3 razors. This one matches 90,% of the shaving effect of a razor without the harshness on the skin. While yes it does increase shaving time a bit as you need to do multiple passes over tougher parts of the neck and jaw line but it is worth the effort. Surprised that despite so many reviews mentioning the side trimmer being ineffective Philips hasn't don't anything to rectify that. That's the only negative that I can see in the shaver Battery is currently lasting me for two full weeks and that is another big plus. Overall very satisfied with the purchase.
