BYOMA Brightening Body Lotion

One of my favorite body lotions (great for hands too- silky smooth with no weird tackiness like some body lotions when used on the hands)! I’ve purchased twice which is really rare for me because I like trying new products. Makes skin feel incredibly soft and silky with no greasy feeling left behind (layers beautifully over body serums/oil). I do feel like it helps brighten and refine skin texture, I don’t necessarily need a lot of improvement in this area so I can’t say it’s a miracle worker but for me it definitely helped perk up my skin making it look healthy, glowy, and just more bright and clear (especially on hands, chest, and shoulders). Zero sensitivity or reaction and I tend to have issues with body lotions causing some redness and rashes. I also love the fragrance, it’s incredibly light and not overpowering but it smells amazing. I’m not even sure what the scent is but I’m calling it happiness in a bottle because it is actually kind of uplifting and calming like a deep breath of fresh air (even though that’s not at all the scent lol); since it’s not overwhelming it plays really well with other perfumes and almost just seems to enhance other scents. I also use the body wash with the same great results. Highly highly recommend! Also you just can’t beat the price for the amount of product you get! TIP once you can’t pump anymore out definitely open it up because there will still be a lot of product left. That’s my only complaint with this one but, honestly, it’s not any worse than other pump bottle lotions because there’s always so much left! Also, I’m 41 and feel like this is great for “mature” skin or young adults and teenagers. My skin isn’t necessarily showing a lot of aging but I’m still 41 and it works so well!

I am genuinely in love with this lotion. It is my favorite product I've ever gotten for my body. I've tried a bunch of lotions, oils, scrubs, etc. but nothing has ever beat this one. I plan to keep it in my roster for as long as possible. It is not greasy at all and absorbs very quickly. It makes my skin feel soft and hydrated for the full day until my next shower, then I apply it again. I am trying to get rid of an uneven tan and have noticed a very slight brightening effect, and I actually feel much more comfortable with this than something irritating that works too fast. It smells very good, though smell is subjective, but the scent doesn't last too long which I actually prefer. I could not recommend this lotion more, and plan to try other BYOMA products because of it.

This lotion is amazing! It feels light going on but delivers great hydration. The only downside is the packaging. The pump gives out while there’s still plenty of lotion left. It would be nice ifBYOMA would revise the bottle design or ant least include a spatula to help get the rest out. If they did that, I would definitely give this lotion a five star rating.

I’ve started using Korean skincare products and they have made a huge difference in how skin looks and feels. I have dry sensitive skin and this lotion does not irritate it at all. This lotion glides on smoothly and as it absorbs into your skin making it feel silky and it dewy fresh. Other products of the similar quality sell for twice as much, so I consider Byoma a much better deal and a true value for my dollar. The fragrance is light and it disappears after a few minutes.

So far this lotion is very brightening and moisturizing however, I’m not crazy about the smell. It doesn’t stink or anything it’s just not for me or my body chemistry. Would love to see different smell options, especially more woodsy musk smell. That said… I only want those smells because this lotion is actually my new favorite. Been using over 3wks now & my skin feels & looks much healthier. I also now use their face moisturizer …it’s my new holy grail! I just use with my VS body sprays & it mixes very well

My go to body lotion is normally the naturium bio lipid one but I noticed this one had similar ingredients but with urea added so I decided to buy it. I know a lot of derms recommend urea and I’ve been loving my Byoma face moisturizer so I wanted to give it a try. I love the texture of it, it immediately soaked into my skin and left my arms feeling smooth and soft without any greasiness or oiliness. I was surprised by the scent though since I was expecting it to be fragrance free (should’ve read more) but I don’t hate it shockingly. It’s a very light warm clean scent, almost a little musky. It makes me think of fresh laundry or dryer sheets, if you like EOS warm and cozy you would probably love this, or even if you like more unisex scents. I’m normally a gourmand girl but it does make me feel pretty cozy after applying. If you like clean scents and need a good quality daily moisturizer for the body I recommend!

I was excited for this and immediately opened the package and put pea size dollop on my arm. It is a wonderful consistency that spreads and absorbs very well. That amount was able to cover my entire arm and on to my chest. I should have smelled it first. It is a powdery grandma/baby powder smell and it is STRONG!! I am sensitive to scents and have never tolerated the powder smell well. I had to wash it off in the shower. If this is a smell that will not bother you I suggest giving it a try.

To be clear: this is for the BYOMA Brightening body lotion. I can't speak for 'brightening'. I don't even know what that means. HOWEVER, here's what I do know: After 3 winters of desperately searching for a lotion that'd help my post-menopausal skin, that lives at 9,000 ft, this is my holy grail. I've tried at least one lotion a month for two years and nothing--cheaper or more expensive or more well-known--has done what this does. I only have to apply it once a day and can skip one without skin flaking on clothes. It's not greasy, the slight 'bright' smell dissipates within seconds, it doesn't create that super-ick of peeling in the shower. As long as it's an option, I'l never be without it. For those that have sensitive noses, I think you'll appreciate this. I'm hypersensitive (like mostOlay products make me want to vomit) and this is very, very light and pleasant for a few seconds then it's gone.

Lovely and hydrating. If you have very dry skin and I’m sure this would be heavy enough but it is enough for my normal skin. Has a very subtle scent and absorbs very quickly and isn’t stinky.

Amazing, great hydration, soaks in quickly. Slight scent but nothing to heavy. Only thing is near the end of the bottle, it's difficult to get out with the pump on the bottle.

Purchased to help treat KP (strawberry legs). I was advised to get a good moisturiser and I picked this one because it has the magic ingredient Urea in it. The bottle is a decent size, the pump lid pops up and it's easy to apply because of the lids size so when your hands are slippery you can still grip the pump dispenser bit. The smell is lovely and the product glides on. Advised to apply on damp skin. Within a few minutes it is dry and my legs do feel softer. The cream spreads evenly and so far my sensitive skin has been fine with it applied daily. It is being used in combination with another product for KP and I have only been using them both for a few days so it is too early to tell whether it will work for this but I am confident and even as a body moisturiser it is working well. Another bonus is that it's Vegan friendly and 100% animal cruelty free
