TriStar Digital TV Aerial Compact Tri-Fold Easy Assembly Aerial Kit 4G Filter Outdoor Or Loft 27900KTR

I ordered this as I’d just moved into a new build which didn’t have an ariel. I’d done some initial research into my nearest mast in preparation and felt confident that as a single woman, I had this and didn’t need to pay a “professional” to install it.It’s really easy to assemble and so did it fairly quickly. After locating the coax in the loft I connected it and then tried to fix it to a beam. This was where I struggled and ended up just leaving it sitting in the loft, pointing in the general direction of the nearest mast. I managed to get some pictures in my TV but no HD channels.The following day, and after a little more research, I tried again. I got the ariel attached to the beam and used the compass on my phone to adjust it and it worked perfectly. All channels in place, excellent picture quality and a bargain price!

Easy to assemble - instuctions included but i did not read them - Fitted in loft - found all the channels and stable signal for HD - Would have thought it would be a bit flimsy to fit outside but i cant be sure - All in all good value for what you pay - Would reccomend

Very compact aerial and easy to build. I have used this in my loft and get a fantastic picture. Very clear instructions. The only bits that let it down are.The bracket for the "L" mount is of very poor quality and easily bends. I am glad it is mounted in loft as I do not think it would be very "safe" outside in chimney. The cable supplied is of very poor quality and the aerial connect struggled to grip and tighten. I used my own cable which was much better quality.

I'll have to admit that I was a little sceptical about the quality of signal that this may produce, however I have ordered it nonetheless.I Initially put the aerial together, whilst it was in to bedroom where the TV is, to ensure I had cabled it all up correctly, and the signal strength was about 80% according to the signal diagnostics of the TV. The Occasional (rare bit of signal degradation, but that was mostly due to me roughly pointing it in the same direction of neighbouring aerials.Good Enough I thought, so I installed it onto one of the beams in the loft (and the weight of it is very light), a relatively simple job, and again gave it a rough point in the direction I thought the others were pointing in, plugged it back into the TV again, and the Signal strength was 100%, no Error bits, no loss and a tonne of extra channels, even the HD ones were absolutely perfect.So based on this experience I can give this loft Aerial a solid 5 star review.For the price you just cant argue with it.

Easy, simple no problem.When trying to find direction just get it towards 348°

Installed this aerial in loft, with a 6 way splitter. Closest freeview transmitter is in Craigkelly, which is just over 15miles from the house. Despite the loss insertion of the splitter and cheap/poor coaxial cable from the loft to the ground floor lounge, the TV is able get decent signal strength and quality. TV able to get all SD and HD channel. Picture and sound 100% stable, no break up at all.Not the cheapest aerial around. It does come with all fittings and cable to get it up and running. The only item I needed to add is extra F plugs. The construction is sturdy. Unlikes some of the cheaper aerials, the elements on this aerial is thick and solid, so a few bumps here and there does not bend the element.All in all, this is a great aerial and would recommend it.

I've installed two of these now. The aerial itself is very good. I've had reliable HD channels and on retuning had 25 new channels... not that these will get watched. The mounting hardware isn't great, I'd use your own screws as these are very soft. The angle bracket and pole are very light duty, but are ok

The media could not be loaded.  He adquirido esta antena para poner en una casa de pueblo, en una segunda residencia en la que hemos hecho una obra total para ir a pasar algún día de relax. Cambiamos la tele, quitamos la antena vieja y necesitábamos una antena fácil de instalar porque no somos electricistas, que estuviese bien de precio y que fuese eficaz en una zona bastante aislada. Hemos conseguido el producto que buscábamos.La antena la compramos "reacondicionada", como nueva, desde Amazon informaban que tenía un pequeño daño en la caja pero el producto en sí estaba en perfectas condiciones. Cuando nos llegó una de las piezas estaba un poco doblada, imagino que del golpe de la caja, pero la pudimos poner bien sin problemas, con la mano.Las piezas parecen algo blanditas, no del todo firmes pero lo que me han dicho es lo ideal para las antenas porque si las piezas no tienen nada de flexibilidad el primer temporal acabará con ellas.La hemos probado en distintas zonas del exterior de la casa y en todas ellas va perfectamente, sin problemas, la TV se ve sin ningún corte y el cambio de canales es directo y rápido, sin tiempos de espera.Trae todos los accesorios para su colocación, y un cable que nos ha llamado la atención por su calidad. Solo el cable ya vale su dinero si le compramos por separado.Estamos contentos con la compra.
